Manyat Peak Cottages and Gallery

Just PERFECT. Welcomed with fresh bread, eggs, condiments and coffee. Gorgeous warm wood fire, cows, kangaroos and a winery next door. A great family trip! Our hosts were FANTASTIC thanks so much Gary and Maria we will be back :)

Lovely clean and beautifully appointed cottage, we stayed at Boobook, though there’s not much for the kids to do at the farm, it would be perfect for couples and older kids, plenty of room to throw or kick a ball and huge advantage being close to the wineries, walks and cafes in the porongurups. We were generously given fresh baked bread, eggs, handmade soaps and the cottage has everything you would need. A rope swing on one of the large trees on the farm walk would be amazing for the kids that stay here. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful location and view. The cottage was comfortable, clean and excellently provisioned. Definitely a hidden gem, cannot recommend it enough!

We had a lovely time at the cottage and were really impressed with the attention to detail and care taken. The place was lovely and clean, warm, cosy, comfortable bed, good facilities and the little touches (handmade soap, fire being built etc) felt really special. Great location for exploring the Porongorups (4x easy to reach wineries, great hiking, next door to the Thai restaurant) and only 10 mins drive found Mt Barker. Looking forward to coming back again!

We had a lovely winter holiday exploring the Porongurups and Stirling Ranges. We arrived late afternoon to a beautiful view across the porongurups from the front porch and a warm cottage with the wood fire lit and waiting for us. The cottage was very well stocked with little touches like soap on the towels, fresh bread, eggs, milk, a selection of cereal and biscuit packs and a bottle of bubbly! It was perfect for what we needed, easy 5 min drive to Porongurup trails, 10 mins to mount barker and easy access to the Stirling ranges. The mobile reception was patchy (but it was good to escape technology for a while). Great hot water, comfy bed and rain water to drink. The new owners Gary and Maria were welcoming, kept our firewood stocked and made sure we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great place! Stayed a couple of nights with friends. Comfy beds, clean, and well decorated. Wonderful owners that really look after you.

Two small, but very thoughtfully curated Cottages on a working farm. Toasty warm log fire inside with the ever changing views and moods of Manyat Peak right in front of you. Fresh eggs, homemade bread and jams provided, along with cereals and freshly ground coffee. Kangaroos and a variety of birdlife come to visit. Central location for seeing the area as it's between Dukes Winery and Maleeyas Thai Cafe.
