Seems like I’m the only chinese speaking lawyer in Darwin NT, Australia but I’ve never been asked to do a commercial lease. A new chinese client asked me to do one urgently giving me one afternoon to do a formal one with a few special terms fearing the landlord would not rent to her if there was a delay until the next day. I googled for “free” templates but all of them weren’t really free, not designed for NT usage and hardly user friendly. Emery saved the day by charging me A$89 but I earned A$1600 for 4 hours work on urgent basis assisted by the easy template that was exactly what I needed with a few tweaks. I won’t be looking elsewhere for future templates. My only comment is that the lease sample was dated 2013! Time to update! But it was better than nothing in my clients unusually desperate situation.
