Amazing butcher and great quality Meats. Really helpful and friendly too.

I can't comment yet on the quality of the food. I only found this place today but if the quality of the service and price are anything to go by, I will HAPPILY travel the half hour+ to shop there. I will revise my review when I've had a chance to sample what I bought. Guys, it was lovely to meet you, thank you for your help and I haven't experienced service THAT good for a very long time. KEE UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

I love this shop. Russell knows where his meat is coming from, insists on the healthiest options and butchers it himself. He's friendly and community-minded, and I'll go out of my way to shop here any time.

Russ is a great bloke, happy to have a chat, and very knowledgeable about his trade. The quality and flavour of the meat is outstanding. His prices are very reasonable for such high quality meat. I previously shopped at the Australian Butcher Store in Boronia, which is good, but this place is just brilliant. I won't go anywhere else again (unless he's closed and I'm desperate, haha!).

Went to pick up my Christmas Ham that my work prepurchased for all the staff.Spent 30mins there getting abused by the little angry owner.I did lose my hard copy voucher that was given to me earlier in the month so I thought it would be okay to provide my licence since I do work in a small office of less than 20 people.Look, it could be because you had a long day or have your own personal issues but honesly no one deserves to be belittled and yelled at like I was today.I love the idea of supporting local shops, but if every butcher has your attitude then we'll be better off spending our money at coles.P.S. to the lady that was there before me, hope you and the fam don't get food poisoning for Christmas since he grabbed your meat without gloves after cleaning/ mopping the shop.

I love my local Butcher. They have really friendly service and are always ready with a recipe tip. Prices are good, meat is fresh and taste delicious. You can ask for cuts not in the case etc and they have a great selection of marinated delights.Cheers guys.You are a great part of The Basin community.

We have been regular customers for 1 year now. We find the variety of meat and small goods amazing and always to be of the highest quality. Russell and Ryan, your dedication and efficiency is outstanding. You always are happy, cheerful, ready for a chat and are always prepared to make a special order up in a timely manner. Absolutely yummy, my daughter got meat and spit for my birthday party here and Russ made the whole process a delight. All the guests commented how lovely all the meat was. Will definitely be going back.
