I recently revisited Mama Lor, a restaurant I had been to in the past, hoping for a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, I must say that I was left feeling quite disappointed. The quality of both the food and the service has decreased significantly since my last visit. When we arrived, the restaurant was only about a quarter full, so we expected to have attentive service. However, that was far from the case. There was a bell on the table to call for assistance, and despite pressing it twice, no one came. We had to resort to raising our hands just to get the staff's attention. The service was lackluster, to say the least. The staff seemed more interested in setting up and cleaning tables than attending to their customers. We asked for some water, and it took an unreasonably long time to arrive. As for the food, the sizzling sisig was the highlight of our meal, although it was a bit too fatty for our taste. We also ordered the inihaw na liempo, but it took an eternity to arrive. To make matters worse, when it finally did arrive, it was half burnt. We had to scrape away the charred parts just to eat it! We considered sending it back, but as we had nearly finished our other dishes by then, we didn't want to wait even longer for a replacement. In hindsight, we should have asked for a refund.I am truly disheartened by the decline in quality at Mama Lor. This is not the standard of service or food anyone should expect when dining out. I highly recommend seeking out a different restaurant, as there are surely better alternatives out there. It is with regret that I cannot endorse Mama Lor any longer.

Tasted like home. Bulalo and sisig are highly recommended. The squid was a bit bland.Came on a Thursday evening with table reservation. It was not so busy but I was told it can get really packed. Service was quick.

Really authentic Filipino food. Love the garlic rice why have plain rice when you can have it flavoured. Tried their chicken soup lovely flavoured broth unfortunately the meat was dry and hard to swallow. The eggplant dish was delish it had an omelette on top of it. Service wasn’t great had to wait a long time to get the wait staff’s attention.

The food was ok, nothing amazing. Expensive for the quality and the portions. The chicken fried rice I’m still looking for the chicken. The lady at the front completly ignored us, praise the Lord a nice man notice us and finally give us a table, it was quiet and the service was far from good so I understand when I read other reviews about the service. Good point their lumpia was very tasty.

My friends and I had a great experience here! The food was tasty and tender, even one of my friends who doesn’t usually like pork loved all the pork dishes! Would definitely come back for more authentic Fili food!

Coming from a half Filipino kid, the food was top notch. Staff were friendly (if a little flat out keeping up with taking orders). Atmosphere was bustling and lively like all my childhood filo dinners.

As a Vietnamese person who never tried Filipino food before, this was a wonderful experience. It was definitely interesting and different. The food is a little bit more on the sour side but since I already like sour and pork, the dishes we had were yummy to me. I had pork adobo, sizzling pork and another pork dish. They tasted great with the rice. We had some stir fried noodles too. The service was also quick even though the place was quite busy. I would definitely come here again.

This was my first time trying Filipino food and to be honest, some of the dishes were okay but some were not quite to my liking. The roast pork was tasty and crispy, but just a bit cold. The chicken fried rice was good, the chicken was roasted first and then added to the fried rice. The beef and mushroom dish was very flavourful, but the portion size was a little small. I didn't quite get the taste of the pork soup, sorry I can't remember the name of it. The soup base was way too sour for me and I haven't gotten used to the taste of it, and the pork pieces for me is a bit undercooked. The waitress was very nice though and I asked her to recommend some other dishes to try on my next visit, which she patiently explained to me. This restaurant is very crowded and I saw many families coming here for dinner, I think I I will try some of their other dishes next time.
