Ophir Gold Bed and Breakfast

Quiet, good room facilities, convenient location with 8 minute drive to Orange, breakfast good in charming breakfast room, host are a very nice couple - they have bore water for keeping extensive gardens going in the drought.

Wonderful people, beautiful gardens. Spotless room, and wonderful meals. Special catering was no problem (GF). If I found myself heading through again, I would certainly try and book in here before even thinking of anywhere else. The gardens were spectacular. Lucky to have missed the rain and had lovely weather. We had no trouble finding the place, and only 10 mins from town centre. Rural outlook and so quiet. Thank you Marilyn , Peter and Phillip.** If I had one issue, it would be not having a key to lock the room when we went out. We didn't ask for a key, but sure it would have been no trouble. We didn't have any problem leaving the room unlocked.

Stayed here in 2019 and would absolutely recommend to people looking for a place to stay for a weekender in Orange. We were attended to by the amazing couple who made sure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their home is definitely a nice place to stay in and you could play with alpacas in the morning. They also have nice light installation you could enjoy at night.
