I don't write reviews very often. Having been an owner and a renter I am surprised at this real estate company. Over 3 weeks ago my partner and I applied for a property online and after 2 emails and calls to find out if successful, I have heard nothing! Not even an update online to let us know. There is a little thing in life called customer service...I wouldn't even rent through these people let alone buy.

The negative feedback is all warranted and true. Dealing with these guys as a rental tenant is like the real estate equivalent of Fawlty Towers. How inconvenient it is for Damien to manage tenants expectations. Dismissive, neglectful, disrespectful - although at least consistent. Madelyn on reception is the only person I encountered in there with people skills. Think long and hard before signing a lease with these jokers.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!! Damien is aggressive, abusive, nasty and not to mention entirely incompetent and unprofessional. I cannot understand how he is still in business. I would not trust him with my property nor recommend you ever lease from him. Entirely unpleasant interaction. Be warned.

Damien is not a polite man. We have to apply for tribunal to fix leaking shower and some minor repairs to be performed. Strongly do not advice to deal with Damien or anyone from this agency. Worst experience ever and very time-consuming.

Got abused on the phone yesterday for cancelling on an inspection (which was also listed online). I apologised for being last minute because I got accepted elsewhere just 5 mins prior the booking.That's the reality of real state. At least I had the decency to call as soon as I could instead of not rocking up like a lot of people would.I believe the person was Damien as it was a male. Madelyn has been lovely via the emails and I appreciate that so much.Will never ever rent though this agency and I'm really glad I dogded a bullet.

Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced from a real estate agency. Damien is completely incompetent, rude, slow to get back to you and his staff are nearly as bad. Absolutely no consideration for his clients. DO NOT use this company, I have never reviewed anyone on Google and have to made a point of learning how just to warn people of this absolute fraud. Take my advice, stay clear.

Damien has been in the business about 30 years, is very knowledgeable, nothing is too hard and has always got me excellent tenants and maximised my rentals. I have known Damien for more than 5 years and he was highly recommended by a good friend. Tiernans is not like the bigger agents where you pay top dollar and get poor service. I would highly recommend Tiernans and suggest you ignore some of the other reviews that are probably from angry owners that are very hard to please usually because they won't spend money on maintaining their properties.

DO NOT deal with this real estate under any circumstance. Damian Tiernan is very unprofessional, and extremely horrible to deal with. He has verbally abused me over the phone. I would never want anyone to be in the same circumstance or suffer the same treatment I have just had to from his man and his company. Please avoid ever renting or listing a property off this company as they are the worst and most unprofessional I have ever encountered.
