I have visited Early Settler at Domain Central in Townsville on several occasions. Parking is quite adequate and there is a good range of other retailers nearby. The store is large with a good display of home furnishings and decorative items. It is a diverse range of wonderful tempting items. The various styles along with a great price range will suit most budgets and tastes. The products range changes regularly which only goes toward the temptation for further visits. This store is well worth a visit.

We purchased the River Live Edge Timber Coffee table a while ago and the table arrived cracked and faulty so we returned it to the store in Townsville.The staff were very nice and a new table was ordered straight away.Tara made sure the new ordered table got checked properly when it was unpacked by Matt who runs the warehouse .Matt is very good in making sure the customer is happy and is very informative on the maintenance of the product as this table is made of timber.Tara was very helpful and professional when we returned the tableinitially.Our new coffee table is sitting at home beautifully.

It has quite a good range for value and has good special prices... however advertising stock that isn't actually instore to take away on the spot... sink... is rather a downfall. Six weeks is a long wait. But for the true need of this particular item and my heart set on it, I would have shopped elsewhere if stock where available to take home. Staff were very good though.

In store service is very good.I purchased the Brooklyn Queen Bed.Quality is as expected for price range.I assembled myself in 1.5 hrs, taking my time ,and only required a screwdriver and the included Allen key. Instructions are easy to understand.Disappointed with delivery. For $81 they can’t even advise if it will arrive am or pm, so a day wasted. They say they will call 30 mins prior and I received a call 15-20 mins prior.I would have liked to pay for assembly but they wanted an additional $160! Over the top when 2 people could have it done in 30 -45 mins.

Used to be a big fan of this store and the staff. Unfortunately the current staff isn't customer service focused at all. It is great to have a good selection but store is overcrowded and everything has to be ordered in.

Unfriendly, cranky looking face from the staff 13/11/22I meant facial expression and conversation should go the same way , right? Lots of smiles will fix the issue.Great stuff, but staffANyway, all items need to be ordered into, what is the point as I could have just order online by myself at home. There are many supplier online, with a better service and quick delivery.
