Was a pretty disappointing experience. Went with a party of 12 for a birthday party, and found the entree of the set menu terrible, there needs to be more detail as the dish I chose had eggplant, and it didn't say anywhere that it had eggplant. The main was amazing, perfect, yet it was a shame the service was sad... missed a heap of drinks that was ordered, yet there was a lot of staff hanging around the bar. Definitely not worth the 105 per person.

Underwhelmed. The waitress was a sweetheart but bless her she knew little about the menu. The glass of wine we ordered was off & had to be sent back, the Duck leg was overcooked & if I hadn’t ordered the side of Broccolini, the 3 little carrots with the duck leg would not have been enough. The seafood soup had nice seafood however the broth was inedible. Obviously the Chef did not taste the broth he/she was serving.Over all we felt it was overpriced, mediocre food & we won’t be returning.Sorry guys but it’s a 2/5 Stars from us.

Have celebrated two birthdays here and the food, drinks and service has always exceeded expectations. The quality is high, and prices are very reasonable especially if you get the set menu. Have had lamb dishes on both visits, and enjoyed each and every mouthful. Have also had the creme brûlée on both visits, which was to die for. The location on the Brisbane river in exceptional, it really is a special restaurant.

delicious french food & very french waitresses, so much so their english was not 100%, so a little hard for them to understand our order but we got there. i don't know why but the escargot were not served in shells, yummy sauce with bread. everyone recommends the duck & we know why, to die for, fell off the bone. i also had a yummy cocktail with gin, mandarine & blood orange. fine dining worth what we paid $195 for 2 entrees, 2 mains & 4 mixed drinks. would highly recommend for a beautiful meal. thankyou aquitaine

We got a shared table facing the river on a Saturday for our anniversary, romantic and amazing atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was delicious with generous servings, but some items on the menu (entrees, wines) were sold out.

Had a wonderful time with my wife and food was delicious! The escargot was nice, grilled octopus was really tender with lovely charred flavour, bouillabaisse was flavourful with clams, mussels, fish, and octopus. The grilled quail was really tender and juicy, paired with grilled broccolini. Staff were really friendly, got outdoor table closest to river and had heater next to us which kept us warm, quiet and cosy atmosphere. Worth recommending!

A great spot to take in the views of the city and river. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. I wasn’t a huge fan of the beetroot ice cream but the chocolate tart was delicious.

This was a lovely place to celebrate a 70th birthday and we had an excellent evening. We all felt the portion sizes to be perfect in that we were able to enjoy 3 courses without feeling overwhelmed or uncomfortable. The time between courses was great too as we were able to enjoy each other’s company without pressure to be eating. A relaxing evening with delicious food. Pork Belly with celeriac and Scallops with squid ink tulle for entree. If you have ever been disappointed with dry duck this restaurant will renew your faith in this delicious dish as the Duck with parsnip purée and a delicious jus did not disappoint. The quail dish was also a hit for main course. Blueberry sorbet and lime meringue and chocolate del-ice for dessert.Friendly and helpful waitstaff willing to explain some of the more exotic ingredients to us. The cocktails were delicious too, would love to return to try out other items on the menu.Thank you for a relaxing evening Aquitaine, it was very appreciated.
