What an amazing place! We dropped by to break up a long road trip. Big mistake... Should have put aside half a day to really do this place justice. A couple of hours is not enough.I loved the history and finding out the role this facility played in the space race. Kids especially loved the launch simulator in the command module and the hands-on play in the 3rd section of the museum. Pleasantly surprised to see a good range of space based classic arcade machines for us all to play on!Very friendly couple (plus a cat) looking after the place. So happy we visited!

A great little museum on our way up north. We stopped in unplanned and had a great time.Staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. This place has so much great stuff to see which we found fascinating. We had never heard of this place and we’re driving by and saw it by chance. It’s a shame it’s not advertised better or more well known to people out of town.

Super interesting collection with related information displayed well but it feels a little bit tired and could do with a bit of a refresh and tidy up (high number of power boards and exposed cables running throughout). So much potential given the wide array of items they have amassed and the related history. Friendly staff and reasonable admission price.

This museum is run by volunteers and is quite extensive. It's a fantastic place to visit and there's a lot of historical information on Carnavon's contribution to the space race. Really worth a visit!

What an amazing and unexpected find. This museum is worth the visit. I only wish I had allowed more time as there is so much to take in and learn about Australia's involvement with NASA. There is a full scale model of the Lunar Module, a simulated launch and great activities for kids. I heard from a fellow traveler who said I have visited the Smithsonian in Washington and learned more from this museum than I did in Washington". He too wished he had allowed more time. Entrance fees are very reasonable. The museum is staffed by passionate volunteers ."

If your into space and technology this museum is well worth a visit. If your not this museum will attract you by all the interactive equipment. You are warmly greeted by volunteers and the hundreds of information boards guide you through the exhibits. Entry fee is reasonable as you could spend hours walking through the exhibits. It is entertaining for young and older. WA government or local needs to invest in updating the entrance and modernising surrounds.

Loved this! An absolute MUST if you are in the area and if you're not, make the detour. Wonderful way to spend half a day, or longer if you have the time. Something for all ages in my book. Friendly local volunteers keep the museum going with heaps of love and general knowledge. I have a heap of photos, but they're on my phone and I'm writing this on my tablet. This museum is a must see!
