Waterview Resort

Location was brilliant, parking was secure and could manoeuvre a Dual Cab ute fairly easily around it. View was very good from the room, bed was good but that's the brain reason it doesn't quite get the perfect marks. The main bathroom was also quite cramped, though this may also change depending on the room selected. Very nice place to stay, service was friendly and welcoming, I plan on returning again at some stage.

We love this place. The service is great. Price is great for a water front. Rooms are nice and comfortable for a weeks stay. I asked for a chopping board to be put in my room and they got one straight away.

Great location, have stayed previously and really happy however my last stay I was not very impressed. I stayed in room 15 Penthouse" kitchen was poorly equipped no toiletries supplied. Rooftop was unusable as only an old table and worn out old brittle plastic chairs. (Rooftop was the main reason for booking penthouse) I was happy with management until I reported theses issues."

We stayed here for a 5 night holiday with our young family and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. The park and beach where just across the road. With the main street just a few mins walk away. We didn't have to get in the car once!

We didn't stay there but friends have every year.It's a very nice place close to restaurants, patisserie and shops.Great Ocean view.

We stayed on the top floor penthouse 3 bedroom apartment early Jan. 2022.Pro’s*Own private rooftop sunrise/sunset views*3 balcony’s on main floor*2 bathrooms*Fully equipped kitchen*Perfect location*A/C in every roomCon’s*Fridge broke, had to resort to buying ice and using eskies*Beds hard as bricks*Pillows like bricks*Limited bedding*dryer filter and roller caked in lint, well overdue a clean.*Squeaky external louver over bedroom window keeps you up all nightOverallGreat spot and the room was really nice although it feels more like a privately rented apartment rather than a hotel. The bedding and linen needs to be updated for the high price you pay you would expect a little more luxury.Hopefully the they get some grease on those louvers.. seems petty but getting constantly woken up then trying to sleep again on the hard mattress and pillows .sigh..would I stay again? Same condition. No.Luxury mattress and bedding, yes.

Great location, close to park and beaches, cafes and shops. Kitchen and bathrooms in our apartment were a little dated. Lift was really slow. Would stay again.

**new managementIf you're a family with young kids STAY AWAY from this place! Our family were made to feel like criminals after our stay here due to the fact that we have young children.We booked 2 rooms for Christmas 2021 with the previous management who were a lovely, professional and experienced couple and booked again for school holidays 2022 but our most recent stay with new management sadly could not have been further from our previous experiences.When we called to confirm dates for 2023, we were rudely told by the new manager that we were not welcome back due to leaving behind a dirty apartment"
