Club 4X4

Please Dont buy this insurance. Because it's a cover on paper only, just for name sake. But when you claim it they will try the VERY best to find a loop hole not to pay you. And they take so long for the settlement. A settlement in favour of them. Ha ha. Not worth spending time with these guys.. Road side assistance team is worse. Rude and disrespectful. Dont even consider you are stuck with family kids...be ready to arrange your own private tow at your cost.They don't communicate to you... If you dont have GPS on your car you can't track your car when they move your car to a tow yard. Because the company will not know the cars location. Because they Dont communicate with you when they tow. They Dont give you second option which you are entitled by the policy. Repair cost will not be covered with their own “technical “ reasons. My husband and myself are very disappointed.

My LC200 had its rear wheel studs sheer off 150 kms south of Coober Pedy due to an over torqued rattle gun at a major tyre dealer, who are about to get slammed on SM.The Club 4X4 team handled my claim incredibly courteously and efficiently. Approved the short term repairs in less than 24 hours so I could at least get the vehicle back to Sydney where I live.The final round of repairs was again processed and approved with a minimum of fuss.I was also allowed choice of repairer which was fantastic, as being in the automotive trade, I am very aware that not all smash repairers are born equal.This to me is proof positive that the Club 4x4 team really do understand the special needs of the off road and long distance touring enthusiast.Highly recommended.

Connor at the Sunshine Coast office provided service and advice of the absolute highest level. He ran through everything in fine detail, leaving no uncertainty whatsoever. Friendly whilst highly professional and knowledgeable - and the saving I made on my current insurer's renewal - WOW!!!. These guys really know the 4x4 scene and vehicle specifics. Thanks Connor - I'm truly impressed and will be letting others know.

So far, so good they were easy and great to talk to on the phone very helpful in achieving a policy with them, not sure how they are when it comes to the crunch of paying out policies but will hopefully never have to find out ...

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO RECOVER YOU AND YOUR CAR.This year my Pregnant Fiance and I were involved in a Not at fault" accident as well as a breakdown in our Toyota Hilux. On both occasions Club 4x4 failed to provide the roadside assistance/towing and recovery service that we paid for.the excuse of (we can't find you current policy) by the roadside team even after providing our in date and PAID for policy number was not good enough. we had to pay for our own tow service on both accounts with no refund provided. we where sent a "gift card as an apology" NOT GOOD ENOUGHWe paid substantially higher than required for the use of off-road recovery and breakdown towing. for a company that prides itself in the 4x4 market I wouldn't trust them

Sold my vehicle therefore no more need for the insurance cover. Contacted club 4x4 and informed them to cancel the insurance. This was acknowledged via email on the same day with the amount of refund I will be receiving within 7 to 10 business days. Which I think is too long anyway. I contacted them after 12 business days as I haven't seen my money. I received a reply immediately with an apology and a note the refund will be on my account overnight. Another 2 business days later now and still no refund received.Club 4x4 used be a good company I had a few 4x4 insured with them since 2015.However besides this and a few other small issues over the years with them I think they became very expensive and the service and cover has reduced for sure.

Hello guys DONT WASTE MONEY BUYING 4 X 4 INSURANCE FROM CLUB 4 X 4.This is a group of scavengers trying to take your high monthly premium amount and not provide you any service when you need it. If you need a tow, be ready to arrange your own private tow at your own cost. Because they will not arrange a tow and ask you to arrange your own private tow and they say it will be reimbursed. They do this to later deny your claim. When you fight for it they say sorry and pay you. They will tow your car to nowhere without consulting you and put you into deepest trouble. They will not know which car yard is your car due to poor communication between their teams. Roadside assistance team are the most rudest. They don't have respect to a customer and don't understand that the customer is calling for help. They sit in the comfy rooms and do not understand we are out on the road with family. All they say is no no. They do not give other options available ( entitled in the policy cover) as it will cost THEM. If you are unaware about your policy before hand they do not give you any information that could help you come out of the mess just because it will cost them.Road side assistance has no communication with insurance team, and the claims team.When you call to cancell the claim then they say sorry sorr, we shall do that this.33 days for claim settlement email and xy days for payment.DO NOT GET TRAPPED. You only get to know them well when you get bogged.Never recommended. Just waste of time money and no peace of mind.

Exceptional telephone service, much better price than the incumbent and overall really helpful. Hate paying insurance, but as its an evil necessity, these were a good bunch to deal with.

Can't speak highly enough of Club 4x4. We changed across because of their level of cover - no other insurer could match it in terms of non gazetted roads etc. Had to make a claim with them for a new windscreen after a stone chip turned into a crack, they were fantastic to deal with and the process was super easy.

Made a claim recently with Club4x4 and straight of the bat they were amazing. My claim was accepted within a couple of days without and drama, the staff were friendly and helpful with their communications. The only downside was the double excess on the claim, I thought it was a bit expensive. I would highly recommend Club4x4.
