Absolutely brilliant, the staff really look after you. Such a great vibe, excellent place for a few drinks or a meal. The food is done very well. Classy place but still completely Newtown. How good is that? Would recommend very highly.

My friend had three drinks in three hours and was refused entry to birdcage by a security guard because they fumbled opening the zip to their bag to get their ID out. Absurdly strict, unable to observe real intoxication. Security was a bald man about 5’6. As someone who works in hospitality, it was completely uncalled for and honestly, as they were the only masculine presenting person (lesbian) in our group of four, who were all the same level of ‘intoxication’ (I’m writing this 10 minutes after it happened), you have to question the motives of the man rejecting their entry. The female security guard actually apologised to us as our friend couldn’t get in because of the bald security guard as we left and we walked 100m to go somewhere else, where we were let in with no issue.

Good pub, and sitting in the window is a great spot for watching the world go by. Nice atmosphere, staff are friendly and for a chilled drink it’s a good choice in a prime location.

Cool vibe, fun low key place to hang out on a Saturday night with different levels so there's something for everyone, whether you want to sit and drink and chat, or dance.

Massive space and the food menu is really good! They were also very lovely and accommodated for a range of dietary restrictions I currently have. Definitely great place for large group because of the space!

Nice place. Great outdoor area and really nice vibe. Lots of local beers on tap. If I was to have a complaint it would probably that I paid $18 for an IPA which they could probably sell for $12 and still make a decent profit.

Not the best, but also not the worst. The Bank has a solid beer selection which I can’t complain about. Always plenty of options for the adventurous. The food is just okay and a little on the pricey side for what you get. However, I guess that’s the way of everything these days. Good place to go for a pint, but otherwise probably a pass for a dinner and drinks type of place.

Came in here for a drink after lunch. The atmosphere is good, it is very dark inside, they had a DJ I believe in the nights it turns into a club. The security guards were very friendly as well. Location is convenient as it's really close to Newtown Station.

It is located right at the fork on the road. Easy to miss. Parking can be difficult as the back streets are usually filled. They have plenty of seating indoor and outdoors.Food is decent. Staff are friendly and the service is quite fast.
