Tessellated Pavement
We really enjoyed visiting. It was rainy but this added to the beauty as there was rainbows and choppy waters. Will definitely visit again in nicer weather for a different perspective

Well worth the trip on your way to port ArthurWon't affect your day and you'll see some natural beauty.Visit the cafe near also, great little spot and the staff were great.

Tessellated Pavement
I find it amazing that rocks can form this way. Stretches over a relatively large area and then blends into a lovely sand bay with crystal clear water which surfers seemed to enjoy. There’s stairs down and the walk is about 5 min.

Tessellated Pavement
Tessellated pavement is a rock formation created by erosion in Eaglehawk neck which is along the way from Hobart to Port Arthur. It's a short drive from Devil's Kitchen & the Tasman Arch and was incredible to walk along. There are a number of stairs involved which were a little slippery due to the recent rain but it wasn't a difficult walk.Definitely a highlight.

Great spot to stop and walk down too. Easy 5 minute walk.Take a phone or camera, especially on a starry night. Check out the reflections.Has a short stair case. But easily manageable.

Beautiful nature here - vast space and not very many people at all. Easy to access from the car park, however there are steps.Fun for kids and adults to explore , and literally millions of little creatures in the rocks!

Beautiful stone formation carved by nature over decades. A stunning view from above and up close.A short walking distance from the carpark with some stairs descending to the beach.
