We had Hive Architecture recently design and then oversee the work of making a very tired and run down 20 year old office area into a great new work space.Damian was very professional, easy to work with. He came up with a fantastic concept design for a very difficult and different shaped space. His oversight and great attention to detail over the entire job made it one of the more painless building projects we have ever experienced as well.We have now been in here for a few months and our team love the new work areas and cannot recommend Damian and Hive Architecture enough. - Dan Bowden

Damian at Hive delivered the full design, project management and overall client hand holding as we fully restored a 1926 Queenslander back to her former glory. Starting with a reasonably open brief Damian fully understood what we wanted to achieve very quickly and designed a beautiful house for us while maintaining all the best parts of the original house. He also project managed the build for the 12 months and his input was invaluable as was the translation of build issues into language and concepts that could easily be understood and evaluated by us. Hive recently undertook a major renovation project for us, modernising a modest worker’s cottage in Brisbane into the home of our dreams.Hive was the reliable constant throughout the build, preparing the concept design (including impressive 3D walk-throughs), refining theplans to include our feedback, then helping us to obtain Council approval (approved first time).They were also invaluable during the construction phase, using a deft touch with the builder and other consultants to make the project a reality.Prior to this project we hadn’t used an architect before, but Hive’s experience allowed us to contain our spend and achieve a design that included the things that were important to us. We worked with Damian at Hive Architecture to create our dream family home, modernising a 1930’s Queenslander with a significant renovation and extension. From our first meeting, Damian’s vision to create the feel and functionality that we wanted in our home stood out. He nailed our design brief and worked with us to finesse down to smaller details of the house. Seeing the plans in 3D render and being able to walk through the whole plans virtually were invaluable in being able to visualise the spaces being created.He collaborated along the way with our team of engineers, town planners and builder to troubleshoot issues along the way to deliver a wonderful end product, which we enjoy living in every day. My first meeting with Hive Architecture I outlined the type of design I wanted. I found they took on board the style of house I wanted as the first drawing I was happy with. Their ideas with extra internal and external features along with the colour scheme , landscaping design and attention to detail has been outstanding.
