Terrible quality sausage in batter... the picture says it all. We pretty much got a crusty sausage that had very little batter. Really disappointing. The woman serving was also rude and charged extra without advising why. When we asked, she said it's a card fee but there's no sign and no indication if this is true or if she just felt like charging us extra. I don't recommend, will definitely be going elsewhere.

Now.... fair call....The lady offered to re-cook the potato & pumpkin cake as it was overdone.. but by this time I had waited a while and thought it might be slightly over. I should have waited longer.. it was almost solid & inedible

Best fish and chips in PC. Partner is unable to eat at most fish and chip places as he has a sensitive stomach (to the oil and batter) but he has no problems here. Food is always fresh!

Exactly what you want in a Fish and Chip shop. All products are cooked fresh to order and are always delicious. We gave tried other shops in the local area and always go back here as their food is the best.

Friendly enough service, despite the guy being the only one in there at the time I went and being a little busy. Reasonable prices. Good variety on menu board. Parking nearby. Good location.

We go here every week because it's easily the best Fish & chips in the area. Everything is crispy, tasty and cooked fresh. The whole family always look forward to f&c night. I highly recommend Point Hook!

Absolutely love their grilled fish. We tried blue grenadier, snapper, barramundi & whirring. All dishes were very fresh and the seasoning on the fish is so good. They don’t offer the options of different seasoning would have been good if we could pick between atleast 3-4 options. Their fried fish were very popular and in high demand. Chips are ok. We usually get only fish and have it with salad at home. Although they do sell the salads too. They also offer burgers and fried desserts.

Love this place. Fresh fish, crispy batter, service with a smile. It's our local favourite (and my sister's not-so-local, I'd-go-out-of-my-way-for-it favourite).
