Very disappointing. New owners. Cut quality and hiked up prices. Chips were mainly little bits of cooked potatoes with a few chips on top. Had a hot dog with very little bit of onion and a slight sighting of cheese. $10.00 for a hot dog..won't be going back again.

Let me start by saying, I'm very very fussy with fish and therefore don't eat it often.We ordered the Butterfish, Battered with minimum chips.The fish was so fresh and perfectly flaky, I'd say it could have easily been caught this morning. Lightly battered, and fried in clean oil, before allowing to drain, to ensure the fish wasn't oily or tough.The chips were on the smaller side, no large ones in sight, but still cooked to golden perfection and sprinkled with chicken salt as requested.A few lemon wedges added in free of charge, and squeeze packet tartare sauce for a small cost.The store is still in the process of being renovated, as the management changed hands recently. But these minor renovations, don't take away from the charm of this local gem. Some seating has been added for in store dinning and also to wait for takeaway orders. Also a claw machine to keep children entertained too.Well worth a visit, if you're looking for good food and friendly service.

Went back as heard it had new owners. Didnt like the food or cleanliness under the old owners. Shop is still being reorganised but you can see its already a lot cleaner. We ordered Butterfish and a Hamburger with the lot and min chips extra crunchy. Fish and Hamburger were excellent chips were nice but still could have been a bit crunchier for our taste. Staff and manager we very friendly. We will be back. Looking forward to seeing a new updated menu.

5 stars for fish and chips. Never been to Australia, but selling an English national dish so far from home is worthy of the highest Google accolade. I'm sure if I ever fly the thousands of miles it would be worth it for the fish and chips alone.

Good local food, cheap price, reliably open in an area lacking late take away options. Fish and chips are fine, no real gluten free options. Small country shop, nothing particularly pretty about it. Staff have never been super friendly and lack enthusiasm but its a good store to get fish and chips when in the area.

Took quite a while they forgot my order. It was expensive, quality was absolutely discusting. Three quarters of the chips were just unetable bits. They put a few good ones on top to make them look good. I could not recommend them. Will never go back. Try Big G's in town, looks much better.

1 starabsolutely rude staff, waited 30 mins while 4 people that ordered after us received their food. when questioned the man serving didn't give us a number but took our name so the man cooking just kept pushing our order to the end of the line as he didn't know we were in store waiting. obviously their communication and practices aren't working. won't recommend or ever go back to this shambles.

Absolutely disgusting. Everything I ordered was raw. Staff do nothing but abuse you and have a go when you go back to inform them of the bad food. Absolutely rude service. Will not go back at all. Bring back whoever ran it before these people least my food was cooked

Was okay but feels like they have cut quality and hiked prices. Lots of rotten / low quality chips. Couldn’t finish the food as that low quality got me worried.
