Apex Lookout
Apex Lookout is the place for all those view hungry photographers. This offers you a stunning views of the beach, islands, and mountains in the background. You also get to know the history behind this lookout. There are only 5 marked parking bays, so on the busy day you have to park somewhere. There are lots of tourist attractions around. You can also hike to this point.

On Sunday, November 13th the road to the monument was blocked by a bunch of motor „sports“ enthusiasts having a useless cart race event there that prevented any other people from using the paved walkway upward. - Very nice if you’re old or have a knee injury! - I wonder why they had been given the permission for that and by whom?

This memorial in my opinion, has to be the most outstanding tribute to our ANZAC forces.A must see destination for reflection.Lest we forget.
