T'was a beautiful surprises birthday treat from mother. The place is so fancy. They also have rooms for a group.Tons to choose from on their menu.

Ladies were amazing. All food was fresh and delicious. Beautiful building!

First appearances the house is a grand old treasure, gardens could do with some care though. The interior has been styled with a lovely whimsical feel with beautiful wallpaper, tables and chairs. Lovely form china teacups and plates used. Sadly that is where the good stuff ends. Food is very average for the money. Salty scones with bitter jam and cream. 4 bite sized savoury items consisting of a finger sized cucumber sandwich, a mushroom tart, a goat cheese tart and an unappetising tiny chicken bun. Then atop is what looks likes children’s party food with a sprinkled mousse cone, a hard donut in the shape of a life buoy, a tiny, sickly sweet cake and a jelly cup topped with cream. I see alot of reviews saying the same thing and I really think the owners need to take heed because there is better out there and they can’t count on their cute decor to carry them long term. The lady who I assume is the owner was welcoming and friendly but the rest of the staff looked unhappy and lacked any personality. This place could really excel but the menu needs a serious overhaul. Probably won’t come back or recommend unless that were to happen.

Brookfield House is unlike another other high tea experience I've had in Sydney and a must try for tea enthusiasts. The owner was there at the time and it's a family run mother/daughter business (aka the Tea Ladies) and they are so lovely!- It's set inside a large refurbished heritage house that has a beautiful old world charm.- As you enter you will immediately be transported to another world full of beautiful florals

We had such a beautiful morning at Brookfield House. My tea loving 8 year old son and I went out on a little date, and from start to finish loved the service, the food and tea, topped off by the beautiful surrounds of Brookfield House. The lovely lady who helped us with the bill (who I suspect might be the owner) really made my son feel special, engaging in a chat about tea and gifted him a sweet little treat from the shop. It will be a day we remember for a very long time. Highly recommend!

Some of the best scones and jam I've ever had!The attention to detail from shop interior to the selection of food in the high tea sets made this a truly enjoyable experience. The owners and staff also put in so much care in ensuring that your food and drinks arrived at the right time.Loved the hearty Brookfield Breakfast Tea and I can't to go back to try the other tea selections. When I think of Camden, this will be the first place that comes to mind!

Beautiful high tea! The food was not only delicious but very pretty. The staff were lovely and accommodating to the needs of our group.The scones were big, fluffy and tasty and the accompanying jam was so good we ended up buying some to take home.

I have been to a few high teas and this one has way better and fresher food than alot of other places. Would go again.

Thankyou ladies especially Natasha and her attentive staff for a beautiful high tea brunch. We booked the 1896 room for a highschool reunion. The decor was just charming perfect for 10ppl @ $55 p/h. I think we had the vintage rose" high tea

It's such a lovely place to have a high tea. We had the Retro Beach High Tea. The scones were so good. However, one would have been enough, then more of the second serving variety with a bit more savoury . Thought it was a bit expensive for what we got, but the experience and rooms with the shop was very sweet.
