I was straightaway welcomed in this library inspite of me just being there for sighting of documents with the JP. At the same time, there were not many people, therefore a very conducive to read books silently. With this too, I would recommend anyone to come and visit this place, not just for the atmosphere, but including the JP services they also offer.

It's good to have a library but it's library in name only. By general and closer observation it's nothing but a lounging place for free teenagers for their urges. The feeling I got in library was purely pathetic and utterly disgusting as teenagers are lounging on each other as they were couples.S******* frustrated l*******G*** and straight couples.Nothing against love.Love is beautiful but if love becomes an uncomfortable situation for others it's quite embarrassing. And their love is getting in the way of others love for books and quiet. And enjoy what library is meant to be.I don't think library officialls care because it was very obvious and they didn't remind these teens of the behaviour required in library. And simply hushed their own voices.Maybe council thinks these teenagers are better off in library with this kind of behaviour than on streets. It doesn't define the purpose of library though in any sense.I think council can provide these teenagers rooms for these kind of activities within the library.WHAT A SHAME ONKAPARINGA.Shame.Pathetic.Never visiting here.Is that the purpose of library???!!!You can do so much better with millions of dollars you take from us.Inappropriate loungingInappropriate jokesIN PUBLIC LIBRARY.

No public wifi. Have to be a member to use wifi. Must be a south Australian resident to be a member. That's messed up. Travelled across Australia and this is the only library with these rules. Also lots of school kids makes it difficult to do any work

While looking at books, our teenage son was standing next to us, his parents, when a male staff member approached our son in an overly attentive manner. This male staff then asked our son if he needed the key to the toilet, our son said no, then staff member said that if he did need the key to ask. Our son felt confused and uncomfortable. This staff member's behaviour was inappropriate and made our whole family feel uncomfortable. He was crossing personal boundaries, overly friendly to a teenage boy who was accompanying his parents on a library visit. Why would this male staff member assume our son needed to use the toilet? Meanwhile, the manager of the library, was standing nearby reading the whole time and oblivious to his surroundings. We have never experienced this before, have been using this library for many years, and hope the library's standards are not declining.
