This is a review solely based on my experience with the receptionist. The receptionist I spoke with on 2 separate occasions was extremely rude and dismissive, not allowing me to book an appointment with Dr Heath as I didn't have specific private hospital cover (I have private health insurance as well as a gp referral). I was told that they are really cracking down on this issue" as "these people" (with medicare) are "skipping the queue" for others waiting for surgery. Not once did I say I wanted surgery. I simply wanted a (well reviewed) specialists opinion about my wrist injury. It was exceptionally belittling."

Avoid if you expect some form of patient care and consideration post surgery. Rude and dismissive are just some adjectives that come to mind.

I want to thank Dr Heath for transforming my hands and improving my self esteem. Both of my hands had Dupuytren's contracture and Dr Heath made such a difference to them. He explained the procedure and its limitations so I was well informed of the anticipated outcome. I still have a lot of work to do mobilising them, but thanks to Dr Heath's intervention and expertise, time and my efforts will take care of that. I would highly recommend him. Thanks also to Dr Heath's capable and supportive team.

My son broke his thumb across the IP joint. Dr Tim Heath achieved an amazing result in managing to perfectly realign the small but very important fragment of his joint surface. Now returned to full contact sport with a great result from a very talented surgeon. Thank you so much for your help & expertise.
