Tommy Gun's Marion

I took service from an apprentice. Thought he had some idea about cutting hair but zero idea and totally messed up my hair. As an apprentice he should know something at least for instance he didn’t even know how to hold the trimmer machine. They shouldn’t offer an apprentice when they know he is not capable of cutting hair. Totally disappointed.

Went to Marion Tommy’s gun at 8.30am on Sat 11 Feb, and I was the second person in line. There was no online booking available until 9am. I usually see Thomas. I was informed that Thomas was not working today. I was happy to go with the next available. The lady at the counter asked me to take a seat, and although I was second in line, the people who arrived after me went straight through to see a barber & I was told that the barber that they allocated me to wasn’t there and is sick. She then said I needed to wait another 40 mins. Not happy with the service. There were 5 barbers in the store and I couldn’t even see one of them even though I was the second in line. I won’t be coming back to this store & you have now lost a very loyal customer.

Amazing time here at Tommy Guns Marion, I had a skin fade and design done by Brian. Brian was excellent, skilful, and left me with an all-round brilliant haircut experience with fantastic service. The result was accurate and what I had asked for. Will definitely continue visiting and recommend to others.

I have had a much better experience this time around. I got a skin fade haircut which was done to perfection! I Cannot thank the TGs team enough; not only did they make up for a bad experience I had but also the level of care I got was gold class. I am Very very happy!

Took my 7yo son here today, he has autism and hates having his haircut. Didn't have a booking but only had to wait 20 mins and they gave my son a fruit box and he played on their ipad while we waited. The woman who cut his hair was sooooo lovely, even though he squirmed around a lot she did a great job and cut it pretty quickly and was really nice to him too. I didn't catch her name but it was around lunch time today Monday 5th June. Thanks again :)

Had my first cut in Adelaide and it was up to my wishes. Two ladies in the front desk were very nice towards the customers and the apprentice who cut my hair did a good job! Will visit again!

They will hire anyone and don't show much love.they also have a large range of beard products but no one has adequate knowledge of beards or the beard products on the shelf.I have a large a beard myself and the product I use is sold for OVER 2 times the cost in this shop.Think before you go there.

The Haircut I received was 5 stars without fault, however the service is terrible. This is the 5th consecutive time I’ve booked an appointment and rocked up on time only to be put through over 30 mins later at minimum. I Was booked in at 1pm and told on the phone I was first with this particular barber only to be seen at 2:20pm and 3rd in queue. Don’t think I’ll be back…..

I booked in with the service people but had to run off before my hair was cut. They totally understood and were supportive. Next time i am around i will get my hair cut here.
