Food took more than 40mins to arrive, salad was droopy and smothered by balsamic vinegar, chips were overcooked, cold and soggy due to the steak being placed on top of them, bangers (sausages) were really processed, so not authentic, steak was slightly undercooked but tasty. Not a great experience.

We have been loyal customers for more than 30 years and to be treated like we were last night by Luke the new manager was a disgrace . We had a table of 10 booked for dinner and we intended on using our group on voucher worth $100 to go towards the meals, however he refused to accept it as we only booked the table thru the oaks and not thru group on . I understand there are many conditions you have to go thru before you can use the voucher however this was not stated to us the first time we tried to use it in the Oaks . Now another letdown, we cant use it again and everyone was dressed up with birthday cake in hand . Then we were told our table hadnt been reserved and was not ready for us to sit down , even though we booked it 3 days ago . The whole night was a total disaster and the only way in which Luke can compensate us was to threaten my husband that he will have to leave if he swears . This was not helping the situation at all .He was very upset as you can imagine having his family there to celebrate our childrens birthdays . I dont appreciate being threatened and being told we will have to leave and i certainly think Luke needs more people skills or you will find the Oaks gtting a bad reputation due to the way he treats his loyal customers . I know and have known alot of staff that have worked there over the years and none have ever made us feel this way. I feel very upset and i need to advise clients to NOT purchase group on for the Oaks as it is a very painful process to use it . You will regret it as we do ......

Great staff, great atmosphere, great beir as they support Oktoberfest but... If I were to review based on the Oktoberfest menu and the meatloaf, I'd give one star. A glutton for punishment, I tried the meatloaf twice and both times... Was so so dry. Pass, sorry

Motel is great, lovely clean modern rooms, can be noisy with a busy main road right next door, I wouldn't recommend it if you have a baby. I had pizza the first night I'd say it's below average and expensive for what you get, a $6 domino's is what you get for $18, had the steak on the second night absolutely scrumptious and you do get value for your money. I would definitely stay again if I'm working in this area. If you're driving a truck you do have parking around the back of the motel

Not bad for having a night in there there is a bar as well but its so noisy at night cause its located on the rod and cars are passing fast but the rooms are in great condition

Basic room, strong bleach smell, I thought over priced then upon booking in was told I would need to pay an extra $100 incase we damage the room. I have stayed at a lot of motels and have never had to pay this. I know you get charged if you damage but never paid upfront. Refund came back two days after departure. They should have told me this when I rang and booked. Very disappointed.
