Edithburgh Tidal Pool
A fabulous, free facility for all the family. The shallow tidal pool for younger children that refreshes at high tide and access to deeper waters suitable for snorkelling. We saw fish and rays.Clean toilets and showers and shaded viewing area.Picnic benches and good parking.Well maintained.A real asset to the YP.

WOW! This tidal pool looks amazing! It was a very cold, windy, winters day when we passed by but I can imagine it being packed out during summer. Nice walking trail right near it which goes all the way to Stansbury. Look forward to returning in Warmer weather.

It was a bit cold for us when we went but would be an amazing facility on hot days. Note that it’s not that deep, 0.9m at the deep end.

Quiet and secluded tidal pool 5min walk from thr centre of Edithburgh. Has a potoon moored a short swim offshore from it. The showers and toilets are excellent. Car park is huge, and the lawn above it is immaculate. Perfect spot to take the kids, chill after a run, or spend an afternoon. I am starting a campaign for a giftshop.

A great place to have a swim in salt water, if you’re scared of swimming actually in the sea. Summer is a busy period at this place. You can swim in the pool or either swim in the sea. A beautiful place for some photos too. There’s ample enough parking. There are clean public toilets as well. This place is free of charge. The only negative point I have is, the pool was unclean and smelly the day we went there. However, there were people on it. But I felt there’s no maintenance done to the pool.

The pool area looks like it has served many years and seasons. It was a beautiful day but not warm enough for a swim. It looks inviting; but I don’t know how popular it is. Great views and a barbecue area.

Nice spot, the water is not very clean. I wouldn't swim in it

Great and safe for kids to play. However, it would be better attach some safety equipment like buoy with rope for emergency. I just assist a lady back to the pool side from the float platform in Jan. The swell get worse suddenly and no one can found any life saving equipment around tidal pool to help her. Luckily we got some own gear can tow her back to safe.

Absolutely love this place. A pool but set in the ocean! The set up is great, fenced in so safe for the kids and has great views for the adults. Toilets and change rooms near by are clean. BBQ facilities nearby that overlooks the pool. Has luscious green lawn area and view of the jetty nearby.
