Pioneer Village Museum Kangaroo Valley
Came here on a wet and rainy day! Front office offered me an umbrella and gave me a run down of the museum and some informative history about the town. It’s a museum and you’re going to get what you would at a museum - history and education about that specific topic ! If you’re torn between this and other “fun” activities - go there instead however, if you want to know about the history and are generally interested - then this is great ! A little bush walk is an added bonus which I enjoyed.

A walk through history in the well maintained village. A lovely circuit walk after the suspension bridge. Picnic shelter and toilets available. Plenty of parkings. Tickets A $10 C $5. A must visit in KV.

The exhibition was way better than we expected. Our kids loved it. Great history, artefacts and very educational in general. Highly recommended!

Nice museum to visit, to see the early days of the settlement in the area. The exhibits are well presented.The bush walk is less interesting.

Wasn’t really sure whether it would interest us but absolutely glad we visited. A credit to the KV community capturing their history and a great little bush walk too. Well done.

Pioneer Village Museum Kangaroo Valley
Probably the most enjoyable visit to a local museum I have had. I highly recommend a visit if you are ever within a couple of hours drive (if you are in Illawarra, Shoalhaven or Southern Highlands). Our group ranged in age from 13 to mid 60s and we all gave a big thumbs up.The free gas BBQs and sheltered lunch area are a great bonus.

Pioneer Village Museum Kangaroo Valley
Lovely weather on Easter Saturday, came here with family and was immediately greeted by very friendly and enthusiastic lady in the front office who gave us a rundown of the park. Amongst the very interesting displays and set up at Pioneer Village, it was a highlight to be welcomed so warmly. Spent 3-4 hours here today but I plan to come again in future to go through the museum and history thoroughly!
