I was predisposed to loving this kit, I hoped when I bought my first bib set that it would be preferable to have a local manufacturer provide bike clothing as good as the great Euro stuff I usually paid over the odds for. The kit had only just arrived when I took a phone call from the Breathe Velo owner to discover why I made my first order - unbelievable!A year later, I can hardly believe how good the merino gear still feels, on every ride. In Australia we've had some severe weather to deal with in that time, and no matter what, I reach for the Breathe Velo gear every time. Fantastic products & service, & being done by a business local in Australia - generally you would expect to have to get this quality & style from somewhere like Italy. The hats & jerseys are just perfect to be rocked while cycling - whatever your style be it fast & furious or the street style commuter, and apre' cycling & doing errands. I've got a few pieces of kit now from BreatheVelo and will get more. Light warm comfortable and stylishly simple. The wool cycling top is super comfy, stays cool on the uphills and warm for the downhills and through light showers. It can be worn for multiple days without getting stinky and doesn't ride up your back if you're wearing a camelbak. Very highly recommended.The bib shorts are also very comfortable with a top quality chamois that does its job well on long rides and rough tracks. The bib designs avoids blessing the riders behind you with a view of your 'coin-slot', and the stretchy bottoms stay in position without riding up your legs. Very highly recommended.

I've been using Breathe Velo jerseys and Bibs for about 12 months now, an put in nearly 3000km into them. They are fantastic. Jerseys show no signs of sagging usually associated with wool, the natural fibre provides a level of comfort and thermal function I've never encountered in other premium products on the market. The bibs likewise are brilliant, very comfortable chamois and wonderful fit.

I absolutely adore my Breathe Velo navy jersey. It’s ideal for cycling in Tassie conditions pretty much all year round. And I love the vintage style too.
