Over the last two years I have attended many lessons and clinics with Shelli, she has helped me learn how to communicate with my previously shut-down anxiety ridden gelding. My riding and horsemanship has come such a long way and I'm extremely thankful for her time and patienceShe is great with people and even more so with the horses she trains. Her experience is invaluable I highly recommend her, whether it's your first ride or you've been riding for years and want to learn a new discipline. Shelli trained my beautiful brumby a number of years ago. From being a completely wild and untrained horse, Shelli moulded her into such a sweet and gentle girl. We were so very happy with the results. Along with this, I’ve spent many years taking riding lessons with Shelli and always found her to be knowledgeable and kind. Amazing horsewoman - beautiful person.Shelli has filled my brain and my heart with horses since having horsemanship and riding lessons as a child.Over the years It’s become obvious to me that not only did she help me secure a healthy foundation in my horse life but also how much those skills/awareness/feel/softness/empathy/courage etc etc have helped shape me as a person in ALL my relationships, workplaces, raising children etc.I’m looking forward to getting back into horses and getting guidance from this experienced, knowledgeable woman who I know will empower me to be better, empower me to be kind to my horse in a world of perfection and instant fix’s. I have been doing lessons with Shelli for about a year now and cannot fault my experiences with her. My gelding used to be very flighty, head held high at all times when in work and has had some explosive moments. All of that is fading fast with Shelli’s guidance, I’m not able to do a lot with my gelding outside of our hour lessons each week but his improvements come in leaps and bounds none the less. Shelli is not only an excellent horsewoman but for me is also a great therapist, helping me to understand my own emotions when working with horses and how greatly it can affect them. She is one of the only trainers I have been able to find that will work on groundwork, basics and your relationship with the horse as well as riding and specific disciplines, she really is the perfect all round trainer who goes above and beyond for her clients with four legs and two ❤️
