Springvale Library

It’s really nice. The library was getting a bit old before it was renovated, and now it looks amazing. There’s a basketball court set up outside with fences to stop balls from rolling onto the road, and they’re busy until night. The interior is awesome too. It’s an awesome place to study. It’d be really cool if all libraries looked like this.

Good place to read books. Friendly staff. 100/10

few things to note:-way too loud sometimes to study, and not enough power sockets(like in the yellow quiet study room) forcing me to study in the louder areas-domain name for the library catalogue is super unfriendly, should have a CNAME redirect from their main domain.-there is this teams call sound that resounds through the whole library every so often. I am assuming it's for the staff to know they have a call but it is way too annoying of a solution.-should have an online booking portal for the few study rooms. always unavailable and need to call. would also save staff time since they have to manually put everything in.-ability to use art materials would also be very nice.

Amazing library, very modern, great staff and an incredible selection and variety of books.

We finally took a walk here yesterday after dinner. It will be our new hang out place with the kids, they loved it! Many activities for all ages, playground were clean, many table, benches and bbq facilities. Nice green grass for picnic and even a coffee shop as well! Table tenis, table for chess players, basketball court and much more! Well done on the new place City of Greater Dandenong!

The best library sits in the southeast of Melbourne. It has lots of meeting rooms, various books, free Wi-Fi, Apple Mac, a recycling station, kitchen and drinking water. Also there has a Cafe that provides takeaway. Friendly and helpful staff. This place is literally amazing.

Very safe and civilized vibes with a rec park and basketball court , Security guards patrolling during the opening hours and lights on all night every night , Sitting right next to the other side of the police station and market place too , A great place to chill with family and friends

Can't fault this place. Hadn't been here since the new build. Amazing facilities and decent bathrooms. Well organised with computers and even a corner for gaming. Love the options for booking rooms to study for both groups and individuals.They even have a good little kitchen area with outdoor balcony spaces. Wish this was around when I was studying. The staff are friendly as well.Big open spaces for parking as well and a quick stop for drop off/pick up. And enough outdoor space to chill out.Only negative point is the stools, they are so uncomfy.
