Took delivery this week of a timber desk and a custom made library unit for my study from Chris at Home Pine Furniture and I couldn’t be happier. Chris was a pleasure to deal with and assisted me with the custom design to maximise storage and fit perfectly into a tricky space. The quality of the items is great and I’m particularly pleased with the finishing. From the sleek design, smooth surfaces and even colour matched to blend in with some existing pieces. All Australian made which was a must for me.Overall, the quality, design and price was unmatched when compared with other places I looked and I would highly recommend the buying experience I had from Home Pine Furniture. Great job Chris.

Quality Control leaves a lot to be desired from this pine company.Unfortunately I don’t think that Chris checks the products for quality. I would suggest to Home Pine and especially to purchasers, to thoroughly check the quality of the furniture prior to accepting the product. Unfortunately we had limited time for a 600km return trip to pick up the furniture and did not check the quality prior to returning home. The staff at Home Pine are lovely and obliging but unfortunately the quality of the products that I purchased were not to the standard that I would expect for the price. The standard of workmanship on all of our three new pine units is not good and I would rate them seconds primarily due to the manufacture of the drawers and doors and the top of the buffet unit, the base unit construction was good, and from my observation possibly made by two different manufacturing sections. At a glance the quality of the furniture looks good but not on close scrutiny, especially when staining the units. Gaps and cracks have not even been filled, if they had been filled the faults would not be so obvious. The pictures supplied by Home Pine prior to purchase show a lot of grain in the timber but the actual product has very little grain definition.Of the main buffet unit drawers, some are cracked and damaged and split timber used in them with some exposed staples, admittedly they are in the drawers and not seen but it appears as though some seconds timber was also used and appear as if they were hurriedly produced with a rough enough is good enough philosophy. The main buffet unit top with the glass doors has a 80mm long crack in a bottom shelf extending through the entire shelf thickness. This item should not have left the factory.A couple of the doors on the lower buffet unit have joins on the front panel of the units with gaps of less than 1mm but when stained the joins are visible which I fear will enlarge over time. One buffet door even has flaw marks in the timber in the middle of the door infill detracting from its looks.Structural joins on ALL of the ten doors have 0.5-2mm gaps. It is as though there is no concern for accuracy when cutting and joining the timber doors. It doesn’t appear as if a timber jig was used in the construction of the doors, if it were used, there would be no poorly aligned joints. Both of the TV unit doors are terribly constructed with daylight visible though one at the top corner due to the timber infills being cut short and on an angle about 10mm short one side and 15mm short on the other, whilst the other door infill is cut 10mm short. Most of the joins and structural joints on the units will require me filling to try to hide the flaws. There has been no effort to try to repair or fill gaps in any joints. I have previously purchased raw pine units through another supplier and the quality and joins were excellent.I am very disappointed in the quality of the pine furniture that we have purchased. This furniture is not quality it is hurriedly produced by some staff who do not appear to care. Unless this business improves their quality I do not think it will be around much longer. I was always taught to treat others as you want them to treat you back in return. The same could be said about products produced; would you ,the supplier, be happy to accept this product? If not do not sell it as a quality product.

Amazing service and products!!We ordered a table and requested a custom size (2200x1200) as the other measurements were either too big/too small for the size of our dining room. We looked for a really long time for a table with this design. Not only did we find what we were looking for, we also could choose the finish and the how dark we wanted the wood to be. Sam was so helpful in assisting us in choosing our table and with everything we wanted, he made it a possibility. I highly recommend this product and company.

I was recommended Home Pine Furniture by a friend when I wanted an entertainment unit that for months I just couldn't find in any other store. The team at Home Pine were incredibly helpful as I described what I wanted, coming up with many useful recommendations and a price that suited me.My customised Victorian Ash entertainment unit was delivered last weekend and now takes pride of place in my lounge.I couldn't be happier with the quality nor the price.
