Poor quality. Lots of unfinished work. Thank god for the independent inspector we hired. Issues started when we were signing the contract, sales rep looked at the wrong plan and ordered double glazed windows for only half of house (refused to fix later). Site supervisor was very hard to deal with, had to hassle him multiple times to fix things that weren’t completed at handover. The tv point never worked and still doesn’t work 18 months after getting the keys. The whole saga caused me lots of stress and time wastage. The warranty team is the only good department in this company and even they are getting sick of fixing up construction mistakes. Think twice before building with them.

Shape homes built a townhome in Donnybrook for my partner and i.Started off very rocky (Literally) nothing you can control with the land- this caused a massive delay with construction and forever playing catch up after that. Overall the experience has been pleasant with the help of Ash from the office and Tim our project manager, without both it would have been a very different story. Special thanks to Daniel the construction manager for attending my queries also.Thanks guys appreciate all the help from start to finish and glad to see the final result after everything's said and done and satisfied with everything. While building a home for my son, I was lucky to have Ashlee M as our Project Coordinator. She responded quickly and efficiently to all emails and texts. Ashlee was always polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Even after settlement Ashlee would assist me with problems and queries. Ashlee's professionalism and customer service is 2nd to none.

All went ok with the build until after we handed over. At final inspection there were a few issues which needed to be fixed. Whilst some of these things were fixed, there were a number of items where we were told were fixed when they weren't. I have emails/texts from the supervisor stating that everything has been fixed only to check and find them not fixed. I was in contact with Ashley at head office, I believe she tried her best but was also being told that things were fixed on multiple occasions.I was given the contact details of the supervisors manager to try to get things fixed. That was a complete waste of time. I Left 2 messages for him with no response.I was then given the details of the General Manager of Construction. While he did try to get things fixed, so much time had past that we had to settle for some things not being done satisfactorily, or having to fix some of the things myself as a tenant was moving in. (Photos and videos of some of these things are attached)).The render repair (See photo 4 of this repair). We were told on approx. 4 occasions that this was repaired. It was eventually repaired properly.Finish around garage door entrance (See photos 2, 3 and 5). We were told on multiple occasions that this was fixed. The eventual result was that they put some architrave to cover up the dodgy finishing, this caused more issues as below.Because they needed to cover up the finishing around the garage door entrance with architrave, the cable from the roller door now rubs on the architrave. (See video 2)Also, the roller door scraped on the architrave (See video 3). My tenant was moving in the following day so I plained it myself so that the door no long scraped (See video 4). This all could have been avoided if the finishing had been done properly the first time.Last week my tenant reported that the toilet bowl was moving. I went to inspect to find that the toilet bowls were not screwed to the floor, they only had silicon around them. A plumber was sent on Friday morning to fix these problems, the result of these being fixed" are on display. (See Photo 1 and Video 1). My town home building was completed within agreed time lines and with good quality build material and with a very good build quality overall.Thank you people involved in this project of Shape homes. I am so happy with my whole experience with Shapehomes, throughout the build the communication was great, handover was great, and the most important bit I think was the response I have received for those things that happen after handover, the team went above and beyond to rectify any issues I had, whenever any of the Tradesmen attended my home they were courteous, helpful and surprisingly fussier than me.Building a home is stressful at times but Shapehomes made my experience a good one especially aftercare.Thank you too Shapehomes and especially all involved in the the warranty team.

To start the process, I mostly communicated with Marcel who was amazing. He was charismatic, knowledgeable and timely with responses throughout the buying and settling process. Moving over to the construction experience, Tomi was my Building Supervisor. Again, very charismatic, transparent and spoke with clarity and was able to build my understanding of the construction process. He worked hand in hand with my private inspector to fix any issues and was always willing to walk me through to show what has been fixed, even during delays and when it was a struggle to get tradesman back in, Tomi would fix items himself. Even now, post settlement, Tomi continues to be very timely with his responses and is always providing support when needed. Throughout this entire process, Aberdeen has been an absolute star in communications and connecting me with the information I need and the people I need.Overall, for my first home building experience, it has been great and the Townhouse looks very nice. Some minor cosmetic things here and there, but like I said, they are getting fixed daily.Thank you!

Thankful for Ashlee In administration and Brett my site supervisor for clear and consistent communication. Brett had continually followed me up, met me to see my property and moving in day was exciting! I am loving my home and very happy with the price, quality and location. Thanks Shape homes.

Shape homes have been amazing from start to finish building my town house. I bought the turn key package which meant I didn’t need to worry about anything (turf, letterbox, curtains etc.) Brett was great to deal with and we had a laugh along the way. Highly recommend Shape Homes to anyone buying your first home, they made the process as easy as can be, even recommended a real estate agent and I had a tenant move in the day after handover.
