Bizarre business model where you cant do pick ups. $200 to have item sent to a country address. Item weighed 14kg kids bookrackSo a $300 bookrack becomes $500.00 Give it a year and this business will be gone

Absolutely do not shop here unless you can walk out of the store with your products. Shipping delays of 8+ months (revealed only after you pay of course), deliveries booked that never show up, a customer help centre that tell you they’ve processed your refund, only to call up again and be told it wasn’t processed at all.

WORST customer service. No greeting as you walk in. Stood around for ages waiting to be helped and they just stared as if to say ‘what are you waiting for’ … YOU. I’m waiting for you!So disappointing as was so excited to come in and grab some stuff on my maternity leave that I’ve been so excited to look at.

WARNING DO NOT SHOP HERE ESPECIALLY ONLINE - you won't receive your order. I ordered a small rug 5 weeks ago and after not one single update, and no one able to tell me what the hell had happened to my order I realised I was never going to receive the rug so called customer service" which is the USA and waited on hold for 45 minutes before anyone picked up the phone

My desk ordered is yet to arrive. No one can tell me where it is even what state it is. The delivery company ANC scheduled and confimed via text the date of delivery as of today. Then in the morning I receive a text saying it has been delivered but nothing at my door. I call and find out that the desk was not at the depo for pick up by the driver. no ownership of the issue they keep passing the buck blaming each other for the delays. Customer support is in the US and have no idea whats going on. 15 days is what is says on the website I have waited over 7 weeks and no one has a clue. Worse thing is that I cant get a full refund as the desk in transit" and on the way. They refuse to refund me the shipping fees. Just think twice before you purchase any goods from Pottery Barn."

Pottery Barn kids are evil, they have so much amazing stuff here I was so tempted to buy the whole darn store. The staff, especially Kate is amazing, she is so friendly and so willing to help. Thanks for making shopping with two very active kids a more enjoyable experience than expected!

DO NOT BUY ONLINE. Been waiting since mid December for my order, i was advised it would only take 30days for despatch. Each time i enquire, i am told they are waiting for the courier ANC to collect from Sydney. Today i asked for an update and was advised that the order is actually not ready and cant provide an ETA. At the time of order, the item was described as available ready for ship. Very poor service.

Edit: After a lot of to and fro, a kind customer care lady escalated the matter with her manager and I finally received the remaining parts of the bed.Don't purchase anything unless you are walking out of the store with your purchase. I had purchased a bed and when the delivery arrived it was just the bed slats, no headboard. I've been chasing customer care for the remaining parts of the bed for past 3 months but the only answer I get is we are raising it with our support and our warehouse hasn't responded. The customer care is just there to listen to angry customers, they have no good system to get the actual status or contact the warehouse. It useless calling or emailing the customer care.

Can't believe their furniture is for kids. I bought a drawer with baby nappy changing unit. It is quite smelly when we received it. Such strong smell must be harmful for kids, even adult cannot Stand with it in one room for 5 mins.

I wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Still waiting on my online order (kids bed with side table and linen) to arrive in full 4 months after ordering. Multiple phone calls and emails and escalating to their senior lead has still not progressed my order. I don’t know how they are still trading. Customer service hang up on you and estimated delivery dates are not honoured. I will never spend another cent with Pottery Barn. Avoid at all costs. Shop local. I will likely never receive my goods.
