Summerfields Country House

We were lucky enough to attend a wedding at Summerfields Country House and we fell in love with it! The house itself is just gorgeous, it managed to feel both incredibly grand but also warm and welcoming. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and at night the sky is just amazing. The staff (Joyce and Petra in particular) were wonderful and made us feel completely at ease with anything we needed. We would love to return in the future for a longer stay.

Summerfields was our dream wedding location. When we first drove down the driveway and laid eyes on the beautiful house and grounds, we knew this was a place we wanted to get married. It has the perfect relaxed, but beautiful feel that we wanted. Joyce was so helpful and professional from the very first day we met her, through all the endless emails and finally up until the big day. Everything was perfect. The views are stunning, the food was amazing, and we loved having the accommodation to stay the night before and after the wedding. The delicious breakfast the next day was a fun way to recap the wedding and spend more time with our closest family and friends. Through the whole process we felt so relaxed and confident in Joyce, Michelle and their team. The day could not have been more beautiful and it was more than we ever dreamed of. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! If you see it in person you'll just have to book it. Thank You for everything Joyce! We hope to be back for wedding anniversaries.

Absolutely stunning venue!I proposed to now my wife here and we were so blown away by the picturesque scenery and lovely staff we decided to get married here!We couldn’t fault them at all. So if your looking for an absolutely fantastic venue on the Peninsula you can’t go past Summerfields!

Beautiful place for a wedding. The house, outdoors and reception space was absolutely stunning and very elegant. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. We thought the portions would be tiny given how beautiful and elegant the venue is but were pleasantly surprised they were decent portions.

We cannot thank the team enough for their help in making our wedding day as fabulous as what is was! The garden looked amazing & the house and reception room were stunning! From the canapés to the dessert, the food was sensational & we have been told that it's the best wedding food that some guests have had! The staff were amazing & efficient. We had the best night & everything ran smoothly! The photos that have the beautiful venue as a background look sensational! Perfect - without a doubt the very best experience you could ever wish for. Our family has held a wedding here and it is an extremely good spot for parties and so.Love the landscape ,the pond, the trees , the flowers and the amazing services .

Visited for a wedding. As a guest it was a beautiful place to visit. Facilities were beautiful. Food was very nice and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I obviously did not have to pick up the bill do can't comment on the value, but as a guest it was a lovely place to visit.The only improvement I would mention would be to improve the sound system by putting speakers in the roof. Hearing the speaches was a little difficult
