Nice spot. 10 mins walk from central station south exit. Enjoyed a couple of good afternoons drawing watercolor pictures and admiring exhibitions on the inside of the gallery. :)

The exhibition environment is very beautiful and full of atmosphere. It makes me feel like I am in the world of art. At the same time, I participated in a Carte Art Tour, which was very interesting. We could drink tea and coffee, and eat desert. In addition, we were guided by professionals to have around the whole exhibition. I strongly recommend that you come to this art filled place

I was extremely disappointed in this class. The teacher Sonia wasn’t very welcoming and didn’t give any direction on what to draw and paint. Several people in the class were asking what do we do. There wasn’t enough aprons, paint and equipment for everyone, as it was a paid class I did expect a better experience.

Tucked away from the bustling crowd on Crown St. in Surry Hills, one can find a bit of tranquility inside Live in Art. The gallery itself is on the ground floor of an award winning architectural masterpiece. As can be seen from their eclectic exhibition schedule, the gallery attracts an elite group of international artists. I've seen a few exhibitions at Live in Art, the experience is unique and memorable with each visit. Highly recommended if you're in the area!
