They’ve always got hot chips ready to go. Burgers here are nice as well, and they’re very friendly with their customers who I think are regulars.

Bloody delicious. Seriously, bloody delicious. Given that they're in the heart of a university, Neptune's has some great quality food at a decent price. You should go while the food is still fresh, instead of at the end of the day - you'd be surprised at the difference in taste between fresh F&C and those that are a bit old.They have a great selection of stuff to choose from, and the DIY salt/seasoning/sauce means you can have them exactly how you want.

Dishonest. I requested a new chips with my order and was promised to get one. After received my money, i was told that the old chips are still fresh and serve me with it. I politely reminded them that this is far from what i was expected but received cold shoulder. Well, you won't get business from me anymore. Nor my colleagues.

Neptunes Neptunes... I really want to like this place due to the friendly staff and the cheap price, but I cannot due to their weird business decisions. Who ever came up with mass producing burgers only for them to sit and get cold need to re-evaluate what makes a good business. As it is, whenever I go (when other places are out of food) I always regret my choice, as I do not want to come back there. It's such a shame as my opinion would be radically different if only my burger was freshly made and the patty not freezingly cold each time. (And no I don't mind waiting 5 mins for that).

There was this big asian female customer attendant who looks so angry and mean and it did not give off a friendly customer demeanour. Dunno why it got so many awards for their chips when it is expensive - $3.60 for a small chips and it gets dry.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the fish and chips I ordered at your restaurant today. Unfortunately, the quality of the dish fell far below my expectations.Specifically, the fish was overcooked and lacked the tenderness and flakiness that are expected from a well-prepared fish and chips dish. The batter was soggy and unappealing, completely overshadowing the flavor of the fish. Additionally, the chips were under-seasoned and lacked the crispness that is typically associated with a good serving of chips.As a regular customer of your establishment, I have always enjoyed the quality and taste of your food. This recent experience, however, left me extremely disappointed. I believe it is important for you to be aware of this matter, as it may help you maintain the high standards your restaurant is known for.I kindly request that you look into this issue and take appropriate measures to address the problem. I believe it is crucial to ensure consistency in the quality of your dishes, especially one as popular as fish and chips.
