Cantaport provided fantastic service and was always willing to answer questions. Freight to Tasmania was a breeze and at quite a reasonable cost. The carport was very easy to install and looks great. We started with a quote to install a brick and tile Garage at the front of our house to shelter our camper trailer. The price was substantial after finally getting a quote.We looked at alternatives. The Cantaport system was chosen due to the minimal impact of upright posts as they were on one side and did not become a reversing obstacle. The design also appeared that it would enhance rather then detract like a typical colourbond 4 post garage would have effect.We probably went about it the wrong way by contacting Emmanuel with firstly our property drawings, before we viewed the product at the show room. Fortunately Jason the installer was available to assist onsite and he gave us some alternatives to work with and after seeing the product on show we were sold.I think it was then a team effort with Emmanuel and Jason to put a package together of 2 PJR systems joined to make up 9mtrs of shelter and shade. On paper it looked like the home was designed to include it as the sizing was perfect and also would shelter our new timber doors that were effected by storms.Planning and Engineering approval was smooth which Emmanuel took on. Both only took 2weeks each which meant the correct info was given to the shire. This is an example of a professional system and professional people looking after us.Installation was booked and the entire works was customer orientated with minor options discussed with ourselves and sound advice all round. The works were tidy and progressed well, as this was not a straight forward install due to existing house footings and pillars. Best practice hardware was used for anchoring and engineered brackets custom made for 2 of the footings. Jason was the best installer I have come across.The mating surfaces of the 2 structures was seamless and the alignment could not be faulted.The outcome was impressive and better then we thought. The strength once tied in is very good. The colour suggested by Emmanuel did absorb other colours and blend in as recommended.But the main thing was the whole experience - it was enjoyable. I could communicate effectively online before hand and on site I never felt imposing to observe or have a bit of banter with the guys.The great thing is this system has a good height range selection.We have a pop up van and even before the paving is done we can extend the roof up and pack the vehicle with room to stow gear on the roof rack. The whole system fitted perfectly.I cant wait to have the paving modified to really bring out the true benefits of the Cantaport installation.As mentioned when dealing with Emmanuel you deal with a great team as the installation by Jason was also 5 stars.

As I have been in the industry for over 15 years and family in the same industry for over 30 years, I have never had such a bad experience with any company. I called this company with measurement for a Cantaport for a client of mine for their BBQ area and were good to start with and they shipped it to Melbourne for me after full payment was made. The product was missing parts which they agreed to send it out. My client wanted it to be a bit longer and called them to ask for extra rafters and they asked for $2600 for 4 rafters, I agreed as I needed to finish the job when the new Cantaport was $3900. They were aware that I needed to finish the job asap but after 2 weeks I was told to contact someone names Darrin in Melbourne and the he would be able to help me. After finally getting hold of Darrin and going back and forth again for a week, he mentioned he would check the warehouse and see if he had the parts. He asked where the job was, and started asking where the job was and how big it was, he wanted to rip off my client as he found that the area was high end and asked for $4200 including installation when I had never asked for installation as it is something we can do. I contacted the head office and I was told good luck. I had the worst experience dealing with them so be aware when purchasing, as they are only helpful until they sell their product, afterwords you are on your own.

We just had the Cantaport PJR5830 installed and couldn’t be happier. Emmanuel and Angela professionally responded to our initial enquires, promptly provided a quote and delivered within days. The Cantaport’s attractive design sits lightly in the garden. Workmanship and materials are exceptionally high quality, as you would expect from Japan. Installation was fully taken care of by Jason. His attention to detail was meticulous, giving 110% to the job, working around the existing garden with minimal impact. Far from being just a carport, the Cantaport has become a beautiful and functional addition to our yard. We highly recommend Cantaport!
