Interesting old Home and Gardens. Wetlands would be great when they have more water but did get some nice shots of superb fairy-wrens. Will certainly revisit sometime in the not too distant future.Highly recommended.

A historic homestead surrounded by lush national park, Coolart wetlands is a local gem for a bush walk or a picnic. Eagles, Black Cockatoos and the occasional Koala, with a historic estate right in the middle generously donated by the Grimwade family to the state government.

Amazing place of natural wetlands, beach and bushland with old farmland machinery and avenues and parks of Gardenesque plantings from colonial era. See the old vegetable beds and orchards, then perrenial beds and shady trees invite you for picnic. The historic house is often open during warm months for a view of life more than 100 years ago, or to display amazing art). Sometimes concerts in the lawn and nursery is open.Must see is the wetland bird hides and parks office which have many exhibits and information on local bird, mammal, reptile and insect lives and habitat with real specimens to get up close to.

The definition of a hidden gem. Nobody about, had the whole park to myself (only 1 other person the whole time).Absolutely gorgeous to walk around (can walk here for a good 40 minutes. A lot of bird hides overlooking the small dams and rivers.Beautiful homestead which is an architectural masterpiece. There are toilets, lots of picnic tables and even a drinking fountain. Come here you won't regret it.
