Very disappointing to realise the barramundi was not fresh and incredibly dry. Chips were oily, an unpleasant experience overall given it is a fish and chip shop on the waterfront of the Sunshine Coast.

Poor first experience. Clearly couldn't handle the number of customers or the pressure that comes with it. Ordered two lots of calamari (8 per serve = 16 total), large chips, spring roll and a large gravy for my family of four. Told it would be a 45min wait. This was to be expected as they were quite busy. Returned 45min later only to wait an another 15min extra. Could handle this extra waiting time as it isn't an exact science. The young fella behind the counter was incredibly apologetic and indicted that I could grab a drink from the fridge free of charge. Nice touch (reason for two stars). Returned home to discover only 6 pieces of calamari in total. Gobsmacked. Considering that a serve is 8 pieces, I couldn't believe someone behind the counter bagged this order as complete two pieces shy of a full serve, let alone failing to provide the entire second serve. To add insult to injury, I was also charged an additional 15% public holiday service surcharge. The food that was provided was fine, but the lack of care is enough for me to not return.

Pleasantly surprised for a quick takeaway, and very happy with the food from here. The fish was fresh, cooked well, and not too oily, and the food portion was a decent size. Overall impressed and we were served quite quickly. Parking available out the front, and you can order ahead if needed.

Really tasty hearty burger and the best potato scallops I've had in a long long time. I think the chips however are ordinary, neither crispy nor tasty, but I'll forgive this for the other two. Can get busy but worth the wait, do not give up and just go to bland Maccas.

Great chips and calamari. The chips were cooked perfectly with a bit of crisp. Huge variety of delicious gelato flavours, can’t wait to come back.

Rating based on food only since it's not a dine-in restaurant. On that basis, this was a pretty good fish experience. Great ice cream here too.

Perfect spot for a beach feed with a good atmosphere. The crumbed fish and chip pack was a great size and the chicken burger my brother had was crispy and fresh. And the gelato was as good as it looked!!! Will definitely be back

Food was fresh and hot. Ice cream was creamy and cold. Asked for extra salt on chips and got no salt at all. Expensive for average.

Great service, very welcoming and offered help which I greatly appreciated. Was toldThat the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes but only took 7 or 8, and the food was fantastic I ordered a burger due to on on the worker recommendation, and I was not disappointed, would recommend and I’m definitely coming back.
