Coles Hurstville

I was treated very badly at coles today, by a employee named Nassrey and his staff. It’s started off with me buying a kilo of shredded chicken where it said it was $14 per kilo. And when I went to checkout the price of the chicken was $28, so I asked the lady working there to help me out with this and she called someone over to take the chicken back. And so he took the chicken back and I waited and the lady kept reassuring me he’s coming back. I ended up waiting for nearly 15 mins at checkout. So I took it upon myself to just go and check myself, as I was approaching the area from which I bought the chicken I could see the man that was called to take the chicken and fix the price there just restocking the shelves, so I just ask him why would you leave me there without any notice. And so he replied with saying he gave the chicken to someone else to fix up. And so he went and asked the people he gave it to “did you fix up the chicken?”. And they replied, “yea we just forgot”. So obviously I got upset and said l Want to see the manager. And so I explain to the manager the whole situation and the manager unfortunately did not even apologise for the misconduct and inconvenience I experienced. So I leave everything there and storm out going home upset and felt treated very poorly by the coles team even though they are meant to be welcoming and kind as their brand state.I should have the right to be treated as a customer so I want that right back

Staff are friendly and allowed me to check the disc of the game I wanted! They have a lot of games available including rare ones. Plenty of consoles here are also in really good condition!

Excellent customer service by Ellen, Mande and Isabel. Every time I go their I get great service with a smile. These ladies take pride in their jobs and it shows. I wish all supermarket staff had the same attitude.

This store has the most overbearing security I've ever encountered. It felt like they suspected everyone of being a shoplifter. They actually chased us outside and interrogated us about paying for a 4L oil. We explained that we purchased it from Woollies and even showed him the digital receipt. The security guard insisted on zooming in on the screen, but unfortunately, the Woolies reward app doesn't have a zoom function. It was such an embarrassing situation, especially with so many people around and our parking about to expire. I strongly advise avoiding this store altogether.

The aisles are stocked alright but the store is a quite dark and not as clean as some of the other coles I've been to.

I had a bad experience when I purchase tiger prawns this morning around 10am. The lady serving me seems was busy doing arranging things. And been called by an unty to get fish. She was serving in a hurry. And after the unty she served an old man who said want half kilo of tiger frawn. I could hear him said half kilo. But the girl give him 1 kilo. And the old man realised was too much. The girl took another bag and got half kilo of frawn for him. Um I was thinking why she can't take some from the previous bag to make it half kilo. Ok, my turn now. I wanted half kilo of tiger prawn too. Oh dear, that girl throwed all the prawns from that 1 kilo bag of prawn she got mistakenly before. And used that same empty bag to get the prawn she just throwed out. I was so lucky to get that bag of prawn home and 200g of that was ice.

Bought a can of Coke only. Could have been colder. Otherwise fine - no long queues, check-out operators operating.

Pretty good supermarket, with all of your local groceries. However, during the night, some of the workers are a bit less energetic and you are better suited to self-serve checkout. The customer service staff are really helpful though.

Good shop ,needs a bit of a revamp. Not the biggest but it offers everything you need in a Coles shop. Closes very late at night which is a big bonus.Usually very busy and can be cluttered in the evenings.

horrible place to shop, terrible customer service. You have to wait at the front desk for at least 5-10 minutes just to get a straight answer and find what you're looking for. Not all Coles stores are like this but this one is a no no. So if you're looking to do any sort of grocery shopping in Westfield Hurstville much recommended you check out Woolworths or even Aldi who provide much faster and more reliable customer service.
