i must be lucky to never have shopped while the employees that the other reviews have mentioned have been working, as the customer service has always been great! any employee i’ve spoken to has been nothing but helpful.hairworks hub is my go-to for hair colour now, as i’ve recently moved to the area, and there aren’t many places that stock hair dyes, and they have a great selection!

Terrible customer service I brought my service dog Nathan in to help me pick a colour for his hair they flat out refused to serve us called us every name under the sun and proceeded to indecently expose them selfs in front of several small children

Today, my young son had accidentally broke the lid off a gel that had been on sale for $5. I’ve been approached by the alleged manager named Jasѕ. Keep in mind that I’d planned to pay for the item anyway but the attitude of the ‘manager’ was absoltely appalling. She’d approached the situation in the most unprofessional manner possible. I own a business and ran it for over 15 years and I’ve been dealing with customers for over 25. After this unpleasant experience I headed towards the management office in Rockingham Shopping Centre, I had explained to the receptionist what had happened and she has given me the name of the owner of the business and I’ll definitely contact with the hope that others won’t experience this unpleasantness. They’ve lost my business and the business of my customers. If you’re looking for hair products in a Rockingham Shopping Centre, do yourself a favour and avoid this shop that is in desperate need of customer service lesson.

This store was my go to for many years. Only for products. Reaching for a top shelf boxed mask today, it tipped over a glass bottle of serum, smashing next to me; thankfully no shrapnel hit me, or my eyes. The responding Karen, whom I immediately apologised to, was very rude and did not exercise her proper duty of care. Embarrassing and frightening, Karen impounds this by refusing to serve me as she needs to clean the hazard. Wow should I just leave without the product I mused? Nope another equally foul mannered staff came to the till and tried to death stare me out. Seriously who stocks glass bottles so high. Had it hit my open sandalled foot I hate to think of the carnage and lawsuit.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, brought my wife a hair straightener and within 30min my mother in law ring and advise she had gotten my work one, went back to the shop and explained what had happened and was told “bad luck we don’t refund, it’s not our policy” but we can give you a store credit, i said what am I meant to do with a store credit of $250. I said your receipt doesn’t state no refund and that you don’t show that you don’ refunds, you also never advised me before the purchase, she then went on to say how it was a change of mind and I explain not that’s not the case, she said they don’t need to advise me of the no refund policy and that it’s consumer law, it was literally 30 min from purchase to return. Had even left the shop, asked for the owners details and was told no he won’t speak to you. Buy beware.I’ll be calling everyday till I speak with the owner

I had made an appointment & the day before my appointment I got a text message to say “due to unforeseen circumstances we have to cancel your appointment”No one called to reschedule or apologise via phone! Won’t be booking in there again.

Before you buy anything from this place check it hasn't been cut or damaged.I bought this product and stored it for future use. When I went to use it, it had been cut (likely from a box cutter that they used to open the packages).The lady who served me had actually picked this pack from the shelf and put it through so I never saw the damage initially.Went to see if they could assist recently. Was told they didn't know if I had cut it myself (as if BTW). It had all of the contents in there, and I noticed it once I went to use it for the first time since purchase and liquid came out of the side.In any event I have been purchasing things from here including hair elastics and other items for a while. And it's a shame I am now a disappointed customer who isn't coming back. But as a warming to future customers check the item because they will blame you for the damage and refuse to replace it!

(Posted by Julie, not John!) Iwill never go back. A few days before I went in, I asked for advice about colouring my grey hair. Two different hairdressers from different Salons said they would have to bleach it first. So did the manager at Hair Works. This girl (don’t know her name, but she was a large girl with orange-ish hair) said she did not need to bleach it first. I assumed she knew what she was doing. Pffftttt. I asked for a warm blonde on my grey hair. Got dark ginger. “How bizarre, that’s never happened before” said the “hair stylist”. The two of them had to put a full head of foils on my hair to try and get rid of the ginger, then a toner. Came out a lighter ginger, with a dark hairline. She didn’t charge me for the foils but still it cost me $125. She didn’t show me the back of my hair or anything after she cut it. Really bad cut. 2 days later I went to Salon Express and they trimmed my hair and put another toner on it. Keep away.

Never again, horrendous customer service. Pounce on you then ghost for service. Lots of eye rolling, the staff need retraining.
