The words ‘custom builder’ is a very loose term for this company to be using not being able to meet a simple walk in wardrobe design. If custom means cheapest way this is the builder you want!Having signed with Nick (Elite Homes QLD) in Nov 2020 it was excuse after excuse. First being he forgot to put in the build application to council before Christmas leave, thinking not much of it at the time we didn’t bring it up and took it as ‘everyone forgets’. But then it began… delay after delay after delay, Frames, Roofing Bricking. We were fully aware of the covid situation with supply and demand but to be given no communication unless we rang Nick and then the communication receiving was just a throw out statement, lie and argumentative.Once the build finally got under way Nick and his team were very happy to do partial works and then send out the draw down invoice demanding payment or he would threat to take his workers off site.In summary, with hindsight we should have done our research and went with our gut feeling with this builder. We could not recommend this builder to anyoneCommunication/ Customer Service: Poor unless it’s what Nick wants to hear.Cost: Well over priced and expects payment for works not completeTimeliness: Laughable, Due to poor management build ran over contract.Transparency: Take every word Nick says with a grain of saltDefects: Still on going and currently sitting with QBCC
