Great BJJ Gym. My son attends kids classes, and the teacher Luca is absolutely fantastic. I ended up joining after seeing how well the place was run, and have found everyone to be welcoming and helpful. Coach Murat does an excellent job too. Highly recommended.

Nexus BJJ has been unreal to be a part of over the past year. For someone that had never done any form of martial arts before, Nexus has exceeded expectations for how accommodating and engaging classes are run. You are always greeted by a smile at the door and never made to feel out of place. No matter how your day is going leading up to class, you are guaranteed to leave feeling fulfilled. I have been training at Nexus for about 2 months now and it has been a stellar experience. Everyone training there is friendly and happy to help beginners. The overall environment is also superb. Coach Murat is amazing in his ability to break down the fundamental reasoning behind different techniques which helps learning a ton. I could not recommend this gym more.

My three boys have been attending Nexus for 1 year now after trialing many other academy’s in the area and Nexus is by far the most structured, informative, motivating and respectful academy. The discipline learnt here will carry on in their lives forever. As a parent I hold self defence in high regard for any parent that thinks the same please bring your child here

Overall I was pretty disappointed with my experience at this gym, I signed up for the 1 week trial as a beginner.I was told there was classes Mon-Fri at 6:45 which was true, however, some where gi and some no gi which I wasn't made aware of and wasn't in line which what was shown on their website timetable. This made it pretty uncomfortable and frustrating when I came to class expecting to training no gi as per their website but finding out when I was there it was actually a gi class and they hadn't updated their website yet".As a complete beginner I felt there wasn't enough care taken to explain the differences between the classes and how the overall sport worked. There was no introduction to the rest of the team as I had experienced at previous gyms which can assist in beginners feeling a lot more comfortable training with new people. The facilities were nice and techniques seemed to be explained well however

My son and I have been training at Nexus for the past 6 months or so and absolute love it. We’ve both learnt so much in such a short amount of time, Coach Murat and the fellow coaches are absolute professionals and really know their stuff. I've been at Nexus for about 3 months now and love the place. The coaching is exceptional. The techniques are explained using the underlying concepts, in a really systematic way which makes them much easier to learn. The coach circles as you are learning techniques so that he can provide feedback and further assistance if needed. After the technique/drilling component, we are then given time to roll, providing an opportunity to put the techniques into practice. There are so many people from different walks of life, all so friendly and welcoming. The higher belts are all so generous with their time and knowledge, providing tips were they can. I was apprehensive about starting but it's been the best decision I've made. Credit to Murat and the team for cultivating such a great culture.
