I am giving this review after being extremely insulted and humiliated at the chermside branch today. I visited the store today and liked a blue sapphire ring which I asked the lady at the front counter to show. She brought the ring from the display and she was trying to take it out and suddenly asked me do you have a valid Id to show? My license was in the car. She said I won’t show you anything if you don’t have a valid Id to you. I was shocked at this rude behaviour and she was like this is a store policy that you need to show the Id. This ring was less than 700$.I respect that but this policy should apply on everyone, not only one person and rather then helping this lady then pointed me towards Store manager Aleks I suppose and her rude attitude was extremely appalling as well. She was like we can’t show it to you because things have been snatched and shop lifted before and please see the sticker here. I respect policies as coming from retail background myself but the way it was pointed out to to me was extremely racist.No one in the store was asked a single Id. Why the exception was us ? I am a Product Manager of Dubai immigration and border control and an Aussie Citizen no matter I am an immigrant. Policies should not be decided on colour and race. This is open racism and the store manager should be immediately sacked based on her poor customer service and rude behaviour. I wonder how this store is even operating in Chermside. Shame on them for showing discrimination towards Asians and Middle East people. I will never shop at this retailer again.I immediately went out and bought the jewellery from Agnus in Chermside.

Do not go here for jewellery restoration services. I was quoted to have my wedding rings restored by a staff member a few weeks ago. Then when I went to drop them off this week I was told it would be significantly more by another staff member. I was very upset as I was hoping to have this done for a special anniversary this weekend and was definitely not happy to pay more. I ended up going elsewhere and paying literally half the price for the exact same thing! Feel free to go here if you want to get ripped off!

Awful service. I had a deposit down for a ring in the Taigum store however they ran out of stock. I took my deposit and went to Chermside to purchase a ring. I politely waited until the attendant finished her social chat before approaching. I was told I need to exchange my ID for a look at a ring. I was taken aback as this is the first time I’ve heard of this but sure.. I handed it over to Olivia. The ring was too hollow and I asked to see another on the tray. She stated that she couldn’t take it out as it was over $1000 but I could take a picture from outside the glass??Insulted I went to Michael Hill and purchased a ring from there.With zero issue.I’m still very confused but with so many competitors in Chermside I’m not fussed that I will buy my jewellery from elsewhere.Attached is the photo I had to take to choose my ring with the shop front glare.. at this point I have to laugh or else I’d be livid!

Went in to buy a watch for Christmas present all four people were serving so waited by watch counter 2 of them saw me standing there I waited 5-6 mins I knew busy so didn't mind waiting. 2 men then walked in they saw me waiting one person who had seen me finished the sale then looked at the men waved them over to counter. I was flabbergasted walked out and bought my watch in Angus & Cootes much better service and better watch.

Absolutely outrageous customer service from a young short blonde hair staff member on Tuesday 8th November. I intended to purchase some gifts but this lady was extremely rude, disrespectful and her customer service is appalling. She was reluctant to show me any items and had pointed me to the catalogue instead and said everything is in the catalogue! I was gobsmacked as I’m physically there in store to look at the items in person! After I persuaded her to finally show me she was again rude in her responses when I inquired a few questions. Seriously unacceptable. I walked out extremely disappointed and went to another jeweller and made my purchase there instead. Her service and attitude is absolutely intolerable!

Bought 2 pieces of silver chains here, both were Italian silver chains with defects. Slight twists in chains due to not cleaning silver solder, end links non symmetrical with jagged edges. Pay attention to the pieces you buy as some jewlers that make these pieces aren't the most clicked on to attention to detail and workmanship. The quality of handmade pieces varies greatly

Walked into the store over the weekend, determined to buy birthday presents for my daughter that I had already picked out from the catalogue, walked in there and only one sales person was free and not engaged with a customer, I walked towards her and said hi" only to be waived off with one finger in the air

I have been to shop here many times and went again today. 3 girls working: lovely friendly blonde girl, another lovely girl with wavy brown hair and then the one who I was hoping NOT to be served by, served me.I don't like leaving q negative review but this young lady the shorter girl with brown straight hair needs to seriously learn some manners and customer service. The customer shouldn't feel like they need to hurry up and be at least given some sort of nice greeting or even a smile.If she is serving next time I would come back on a different day.

I recieved a bracelet as a Christmas present and had some stones fall out. I took it back to the shop and was offered to have it fixed or as store credit. I didn't know what I wanted and as it was quite expensive didn't want to make an impulse decision. The staff were understanding and when I finally went back weeks later Jacob helped me pick out some beautiful pieces. I don't write many reviews but all the staff have been so nice and helpful whenever I go there. Great team that deliver wonderful service at chermside.
