Surfers Beach Holiday Apartments

We stayed in one of those apartments (unit 6) from 23rd May 2022 to 28th May 2022 under Kathleen as a main host and under 3 people’s names Kathleen, Joshua and Carroll. We had issues from day 1. There were no basic amenities such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar and salt etc.as advertised on their listing on Air BnB. This was not a big issue. We contacted Kathleen as advised in their listing to contact them immediately for any issues and we were assured that they will refund $20 as their housekeeper forgot to top up these items. We appreciated them for them. (Never refunded).After an hour of our check in, we noticed their Wi Fi, Netflix nothing was working along with broken soap rack in bathroom, TV remote issue (channels were changing automatically even if no one is touching their remote) ,not working lamp in main bedroom etc. I decided to report all as it was in instructions to report immediately.Rest of the things were minor, however having no Wi Fi and then no Netflix in both TVs were big turn off for us on top of these minor things. Since day 1, Kathleen was trying and following up (as per her messages to us) and throughout the time we all were trying to follow her instructions to fix up the internet issue by sending her pictured of the available networks on request, turning on and off the modems etc. and eventually 1.5 days before our check out, we gave up stating no point of wasting anyone’s time as we have almost completed our stay and requested for some refund as we were overpromised regarding these amenities and they were not delivered or fixed even.Kathleen assured to followed up and we are still waiting and there has been no update. Kathleen responded until 8th June advising she would surely get back to us by 11th June (last day of our writing review time on Air BnB) and as soon as our 14 days review period finished on Friday, the 11th June, no one got back to us. Air BnB was involved on 8th June as until then host was responding when we did not receive any update after 8th June, we decided to report to Air BnB, but nothing worked.So, unprofessional and unethical of them by writing lot of things on their listings on Air BnB and under delivering their services and still charging full price, showing them as super hosts and then disappearing completely to avoid the situation. Would not recommend to use their services.

myself and some friends stayed here for a week and i will start off with how disrespectful and rude the owner is. not only was he rude as we were checking in there were multiple random extra fees that were not mentioned previously and if they were not paid for we could not stay there. through out the week we used the facilities including the pool and spa. the spa was a tinge of green and went a deeper green when the bubbler was turned on. this is disgusting and extremely unsafe and unsanitary. after entering the apartment it was found that the television and remote in the ensuite were broken as well as the toilet. with this, there was sand in the bed and sheets as if they were not changed from the previous people. all the cutlery and plates were dirty with dried food on them. as we were checking out at the end of the week he spoke badly about us to our face saying how we were a disappointment and terrible people although the only times we were in the apartment was breakfast and lunch and also made minimal noise. after checking out all previous damages such as paint, the toilet, the television and remote and more (damages made from tenants before us) were blamed on us and our $800 bond was taken from us although there were no damages made by us. 100% do not recommend staying here as they are disrespectful, money scammers and the place is unsanitary. 0/10 rating if it were possible.

Me and some Freind stayed here the owner evicted us for having a party which we didn’t and they have gave us no warning at all then once they assessed the place they said that we will get our security bond back and get we still haven’t received it DO NOT RECOMMEND

Hello, Stayed here back in May little over a month ago. we got thrown out with no warning before hand, had been woken up to a call from the owner yelling and shouting and using foul language towards us. the owner is incredibly unprofessional and stole over $1200 from us since we paid to stay 6 days and in two days in he evicted us with no prior warning. claimed we broke property (complete utter lie we had a lady come and check/inspect if anything was broken and it was clean and nothing was found as nothing was actually broken) despite being spoken to incredibly rude we cleaned the place better than it had been given to us and done majority of the work for the cleaners (when we arrived we found used tissues under our bed which were incredibly gross). The owner stole the rest of the money we paid to stay there plus the $400 security deposit mind you he gave to us then took back the next day with no warning (highly illegal). Would not recommend staying here to anyone.

We are staying here to have a quiet family holiday. The apartment is large enough for all 7 off us, we have a great view of the pool and the aircon is wonderful.It is in a great location, 1/2 way between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, a couple of streets back from the beach and a short walk to the local tram stop.The resort is small (only 16 units), well maintained, quiet and peaceful. The pool area is well kept and is refreshing on a hot day.Would recommend the resort to others.

We had a lovely stay. Walking distance to surfers and broadband.

The dirtiest place I’ve stayed, manager is rude and threatened us multiple times. DO NOT RECOMMEND

It's an old building but beautifully clean. The staff are very friendly and professional. The pool though small is nice, deep, and accessible. The pool is set in a nice tropical type setting.The room is very well equipped and set out.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish it was longerThanks heaps

This was a great place to stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. Loved the layout of the apartment as well as the kitchen having everything we needed. My son and hubby loved the pool! Ideal location as its close to the light rail and shopping areas. My only suggestion is that if you have people staying for quite a few nights (eg we stayed for 8) would be to offer fresh towels mid stay but other than that a great place for a holiday .

Manager was incredible rude and unprofessional, he was shouting at people and was not helpful in any way.Rest of the employees were just straight up unfriendly.Would not recommend to anybody.
