Schooling Online has been such a worthwhile resource for our school. Moving into the new HSC syllabus and teaching new texts, it has saved time a lot of time preparing content. The clips are invaluable for students who are working from home or have missed lessons, or those who need to revise, catch up or read ahead. Schooling Online has been helpful for my year 12 class as we progress through the HSC courses. In particular the Dobson poetry analysis was extremely helpful and added to their own understanding of Texts and Human Experiences. The relevancy to the syllabus was perfect as well as the analysis of poetic techniques. It helped students to connect their ideas to the rubric and expands their own understanding of each poem. I recommend this for year 12 teachers and I am very excited for their expanded videos to use with other year levels.

I found out about Schooling online with a random search when I was looking for support material for the teaching of the film 'Billy Elliot'. How glad I was to have discovered this terrific Australian teaching resource. Each clip has been skilfully put together; I used the clips on theme and paragraph building. My students found the clips interesting, easy to understand and the well-modulated voice of the speaker made for a pleasant and engaging learning experience Moreover, the graphics added to the quality of the information presented. I have really enjoyed my experience with schooling Online. It has helped me so much with growing my understanding of Shakespeare with the videos, and whenever I do a Shakespeare text at school, there’s always videos for act summaries, main themes, and key quotes that help me better understand the text. Being a visual learner, I have learnt a lot and it has helped me to write essays. I don’t know what I would do without Schooling Online and I highly recommend it, especially to those in high school!

I subscribed to Schooling Online after viewing its YouTube channel and it has helped heaps with my HSC English studies!

Our experience so far has been positive.Schooling online is easy to implement as we have sufficient computers and tablets available.Staff have quickly incorporated Schooling Online into their daily programs and lessons.We like that the parents are able to continue the learning at home to extend on topics that their child/children are learning at the Centre. The vast number of topics including self help skills, emotional, social and cognitive, help children learn different life skills and make them part of the routine.We have noticed that it has been easier to implement it with the 3-5 year old's. However, maintaining the attention of the 2-3 year old's is more challenging given the lack of motion in the animation, with only sounds and pictures.It would be good to have motion graphics as would make it more fun and interesting especially for the younger children.It would also be good to see more assessment tools added to determine the level of children’s understanding of topics, including activities for phonics as they are an important part of the school readiness/preschool program. Overall we have had a good experience so far and we look forward to seeing the app grow to assist in children’s learning.
