The Tingle trees are totally awesome and this park demonstrates the importance of looking after our forests and maintaining their integrity at scale. Some of the larger trees are estimated to be 400 years old, so double the age of white presence in this country, and critical for us to protect. There is a mass of species diversity in this park and the forest walls make it all accessible to the public. The new extended walk will be great when it’s done and hopefully includes more info on the endemic wildlife. We’ll worth a detour from the main highway.

Absolute highlight of my holiday so far! Such an ENORMOUS TREE!! We went to the Valley of the Giants and their tree top walk (which is okay) and their information implies this giant was killed with kindness. So happy that we drove up the dirt track and found it. Thought it was going to be a dead stump, but no, it's alive. Truly an amazing sight!

The whole area and drive is worth exploring. Keep on the look out for all sorts of interesting trees down to the Giant Tingle. Definitely worth it!

Amazing walking through this area and imagining what it was like in Gondwanaland.

The tree is located off a dirt track off main highway, maybe 10-15 min drive, some areas are a bit rocky, so watch 2 wd and lower cars as some paths uneven . Short walk from carpark to walk maybe 25 return. Great big tree . Spent 10 mins there .

Such a beautiful and tranquil walk. There was not a soul in sight when I was there and it was so peaceful and magical walking around especially after there had been quite a bit over rain overnight.

easy walk down a paved trail. Well worth the short hike. The forrest through the trail makes for a great walk. They have built timber walkways around the trees at the end of the path. So a few steps to negotiate. But and easy trek.

You can visit this tree and takes lots of nice photos if you do not plan to pay to visit the Valley of the Giants. Please be careful as Google may give you directions to go to a dirt one-way track, which is correct. Just drive slowly. The tree has many burned marks and it is still surviving. A nice place to stop and rest for a while. No tickets required as this is a public place.
