Odyssey Bistro
Absolutely amazing. If this was a restaurant in Brisbane they could charge triple the price and still receive the exact same feedback which was: they.are.amazing. Outstanding service, excellent wine pairings, great atmosphere, the food was absolutely outstanding, we loved our experience and we highly recommend it.

Delicious, creative, amazing.The service - excellent. The team there take great care to ensure you have an excellent experience.The food - delicious. Perhaps the most amazing thing about this restaurant is the creativity and agility the team must have to serve such amazing dishes with a farm to table menu that changes week to week. To make this happen really speaks to how great the team is.The wine pairings - whoever is behind the pairings really knows what they are doing. It is rare to get pairings that enhance and meet the flavors of the dishes presented. Amazing.A great team and a great evening. Thank you! Looking forward to coming back again.

Excellent experience. If I could give them more than 5 stars out of 5 I would. Best restaurant experience I can recall I'm the last few years. Very reasonably priced (considering the quality is even call it cheap) at $98 for 5 courses. Service is outstanding with servers introducing and explaining courses. The food was all amazing, couldn't pick a favourite course. Cocktails were also spectacular. Would highly recommend, and will be back.

I had been to Odyssey before and been really impressed, so I went with high hopes when I visited last week…the only question I have to myself is why did I leave it so long!!??This restaurant is not somewhere you merely go for dinner or lunch, it is where you go for an epic food journey; a culinary experience!The mix of flavours, textures and ingredients is unbelievable, the presentation second to none… each course of the 5 course meal is served with such love it almost felt wrong to eat it (but I am so glad I did!).Attention to detail by front of house is as exceptional as the food and it’s presentation; the knowledge of the food, the menu itself, the balance between attentive service and allowing you to eat in peace…all perfectly delivered.We are so blessed to have this restaurant in Hervey Bay as it wouldn’t be out of place in the Sydney CBD, where you would pay double and still walk away feeling happy.If you enjoy food please do yourself a favour and go and check this out - you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant took my husband and I on a 5 course food journey that we will never forget. I also opted for the wine pairing which was exceptional for quality and value. Staff were lovely, knowledgeable, overall enhanced our experience and blew away expectations of customer service. Cheers guys.I cannot recommend Odyssey enough, if you haven't been..... what are you waiting for!?We will be back every chance we get!Thankyou

This is our third time celebrating our wedding anniversary at Odyssey Bistro, and each visit has been superb. The food is outstanding, the ethos awesome, and we wax lyrical after each visit. Thanks again, Scott and Jason!

My wife and I visited here for lunch to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. It was certainly a 5-star experience! We arrived and had a pre-dinner drink. I had a Larry" pale ale schooner ($10) and my wife had a cocktail ($20). Our waiter then presented us with a sealed menu and explained where all the fresh ingredients for the meal were sourced from. He explained that the menu changed at least weekly depending on the availability of fresh produce. There are only 2 choices on the menu - a 3-course or 5-course meal either with or without matched wines. We chose the 3-course with wine pairing @ $120 each. I also added natural oysters to the starter @ $18 for 3. They were superb. The meal was excellent and the service outstanding. We were never rushed and felt relaxed during the whole wonderful experience. Admittedly

I can not fault our experience at Odyssey! Every morsel was bursting with flavour. We were there for three hours but it felt like one we were enjoying ourselves so much!

Great place for an interesting dinner. Menu is well thought-out and I liked almost everything. We had the 5 course menu (98pp) and the starters were absolutely amazing!! Fantastic. I also liked the bread and veggie on the very beginning. The orange with yoghurt was really refreshing. Octopus was not my cup of tea, but the main pork neck was very tasty. White chocolate dessert was unique. The only thing what I did not enjoy was the octopus and the fact that most of the dishes were (intentionally) cold. I would prefer more warm meals, but it is very individual. Otherwise meals were nicely presented and staff very friendly and attentive. I liked the tableware and the sealed menu. Parking directly in front of the restaurant. Totally recommended. They said they change the menu weekly so you can discover something new everytime. (Visited Sep 22)
