I went here to get a fix up on my fringe and layers after a disappointing visit to a previous hair salon, and Paige did a wonderful job! My hair feels much better and looks great, will definitely go back.

I attended studio K hair on the 22/12/22 and this was the first time I had been there. I had booked in for a wash, blow dry and trim (which includes a flat iron finish - as stated on the website), which is advertised as $100 on the website.When the stylist asked how much I would like off my ends I just said as much as you think. The stylist showed me how much and I was happy to proceed. I would have had approximately 1-1.5 inches off the ends and the tiniest framing around my face, which was already there, so again, just trimming the dead ends.My appointment lasted approximately 45mins and when I went to pay the stylist stated I had a remaining $69 to pay on top of my $60 deposit. I stated that I had booked in for a service that was $100 and the stylist said I took more than half an inch off which is what a trim is considered to be. This would have been fine if it had been communicated to me prior to the time of payment.I have read other reviews where they have stated that they are very open with their communication about price throughout the appointment. However, this was not the case for me. The stylist was friendly throughout the appointment, but quiet blunt when I questioned the price. All I wanted was for my dead ends to be taken off before my baby arrives in the next few weeks. How am I to know there is a difference between taking a small amount of dead ends or all of the dead ends.I definitely will not be returning.

Highly recommend visit Kayla and her girls. A beautiful salon located in Wynnum with talented and friendly staff. I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Kayla is an industry expert and knows how to get you the perfect blonde. Highly recommend.

I’ve been seeing Holly and the amazing team at Studio K since I moved to the area in January. Their welcoming salon and friendly atmosphere makes for a pampering experience. Not to mention their effort to work alongside me to create my dream hair look. I never feel rushed and the girls are always transparent with pricing which can be hard to come by. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new hairdresser that they want to build a long lasting relationship. Thanks girls!

Highly highly highly recommend Studio K Hair co Wynnum and Redland Bay! Kayla has been looking after my hair for about a year now and I’m constantly being told how gorgeous the colour of my hair is and asked if I have extensions. This is skill that only the best hairdressers can do, Kayla and her team are fantastic, they are the best! Their skill, expertise, communication and professionalism is second to none! Their prices are very affordable but their services over deliver and I always feel so at home in both salons.

Studio K is such a beautiful salon, the staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. I was so happy with my colour that Hayley did for me she did an amazing job! I will definitely be back and would recommend studio k to anyone.
