Lightning Ridge District Bowling Club
Meals were good, service from Bistro very very poor. Five tables of approx 18 people who placed orders after we had given ours were served before us. Excuse given by staff was that some meals take longer to prepare however funnily enough our order was 'special of the day crumbed steak' & 'waygu meat patty cheese burger' most others served before us were similar. Had to ask twice when order was coming. Funnily enough another couple also had same problem they however received a refund for one meal. We didn't even receive a sorry for late service.

This meal was one of the most average meals I have had on my trip, dim sims from the frozen section at the super market. Crumb cutlets that you had to peel the burnt Crumb of to eat. Saving grace was the short soup was delicious.

Absolutely amazing food! So fresh, huge serves, best biggest and most tasty parmy we have ever had, and wonderful friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

Went for dinner 2 nights. Meals nice, came quickly after ordering. Glen who took our order friendly and cheerful. All the staff friendly especially Jazzmine.

A very modern attractive club. Generous with the usual take home winnings such as member giveaways and raffels. No more expensive than any other club in general. Very well presented meals and tastey.

We joined up on arrival they scan your licence only took a few minutes we went the $5 membership which we got way more back on savings on food and bar .we had the roast,dirty bird burger,R and B burger,and kids nuggets all meals were greatThank you

Great place for dinner and a drink and to relax out of the heat.Staff are all wonderful food was excellent and they have a pickup service where they will pick you up and drop you off back to your accommodation... Highly recommend

Excellent service and friendly staff. All said 'hello' as they were going about their business.Signed up for associate membership - great deal - $5 for a year plus you get a $3 voucher for use at the bar or bistro and members receive a discount! Can't beat that for a good deal. Just come in for a meal and you have got your membership back!Had cutlets(there were three!). With salad and the staff member serving was happy to make sure I could swap my chips for extra salad. Giant meal and very nice.I will be going back tonightCheers

Did not like they are members only so you have to join just to have a drink or meal,,admittally the cheapest membership is $3 & you get a $3 voucher ,,,but why ??Beer was good ,meal ok but the best thing was happy hour sat 4pm -6pm $4.50 schooners if you can find a clean table.The best service & meals in lighning ridge is at the pub.Nobbys bistro" is the best meal by far
