Greenwich College Sydney

Very good experience in this school;);)Arrived in WHV in September 2022 in Elementary, I left in January 2023 in Intermediate.3 level in 4 months, lots of amazing meetings and a level in English really improve!!!;)This school is very good and the staff is listening, all the teachers are great!!✨

I would definitely recommend my school, Greenwich English College, which is located in the center of Sydney. I enrolled in this college because of the recommendation from my agent. They said that Greenwich is one of the best English colleges in Sydney. So, I decided to join.First of all, I would like to talk about the college. It is surrounded by many shops and close to the station, so it’s very convenient. Even though it isn’t located in a new building, the facilities inside are complete. There is a student area with necessary appliances, some computers for students, and water dispensers and microwaves on every floor. Since there are several courses depending on your goals, there are counselors, who students can talk with about their future plans. Actually, after a discussion with the counselor, I decided to attend 3 courses; General English, Cambridge and IELTS. Also, the college arranges some extra classes, like pronunciation class and excursions, and some events such as a Halloween party and a Christmas party. It is a good opportunity to make friends.Secondly, what I want to emphasize about this college is the great teachers. All the teachers who I had lessons with, including Ian, Jack, Nick, and Sonia, taught us with clear explanations and perfect strategies. They are undoubtedly professional! Although some are quite strict, we all understand that they care about our improvement in English, and do their best to make us pass the exams all the time. They are supportive not only of our language development during class but also about our personal lives. For instance, one teacher introduced me to the teacher in beginner’s class in order for me to learn how to teach beginners because my dream is to be an English teacher when I go back to my country. I was also amazed by their classroom management, which made all of our classmates feel like one team, and that’s why we were always motivated to study positively. Due to the great support I received at Greenwich, I could pass the Cambridge Advanced (CAE) Exam!!!

I'd like to return my money because this school was waste of time. I went to FCE class. This class were 80% of students from Brazil. I and another nationality classmate felt very uncomfortable due to it. Also, Teacher's quality were too bad. I did counselling with Mary who is School staff. Her behavior was so awful. She said bad thing to me and very big attitude and looked down me.Why she is counselor?Counselor has to consider student and put their shoes.Actually, many people complained about this school.If you are consider to enrol this school, I really don't recommend Greenwich.

For the first time in my life, I really enjoyed the school! A big thanks to Matt & Paul… they are the kind of teachers that everybody must to have!

Well, I was just cut very abruptly and rudely with the questions/queries I had about the programs and about the prices in this institution.Once a guy called Robert, a sales representative of the institution learned I consulted with a student agency also, straight away he stopped answering questions saying that unfortunately" he can not give me more information and sent me to speak with the agency. This is absolutely frustrating.In my view this is a huge lack of professionalism

The students service at Greenwich has always been helpful, it has always served me very well. My requests were fulfilled on time and time really does make a difference.I've been coming to Greenwich for almost 5 years now and recommend it to all my friends.I wanted to thank you to Cat Charoenpibool, from GMC Academic, and say that I have no words to thank you for all her efforts throughout my process (I did a special request and she spared no effort to help me). It's great to know we have someone to count on.Cat your job is impeccable, your ability to put yourself in my place and understand the moment I'm going through and how important it was for me to have this request treated as a priority was a gesture of attention and care that I will never forget.I would really like to thank you Cat, once again,for all your efforts throughout this process.Thanks Greenwich Team!

My teacher Barbara is amazing. I always looking forward to going to school.I felt my English skills is getting better.Greenwich is good for learning English.

Some teachers miss the classes than they make a group with almost 20 people in a tiny class with no air conditioner and put eveyone mixed in a crazy warmed class...They dont have a nice structure, they baddly put cups close to the water machine... so It doenst make sense to have a water machine in the hall.... There so many rules for the students, but greenwich school can do whatever they want, u cant even look to the side cuz they would be remembering you the rules... But they can do whatever with us... For sure there is better school... I ve heard some otgers one u can do the course on line. I THINK if the school has no structure make it on line so ... but this level of confort is sucking !!!

It was a good college before pandemic, but after been one of the remaining post- pandemic College, their quality decreased. As soon as they start opening new venue, the change to take the classes that you need became to almost zero because of the overcrowded student. They have not been able to manage the amount of students like humans but just like number, it’s not good, they need to put more effort for the students service.

One of the worst college which is here to just make money from the students.I dont know how they are running with this kind of attitude.They treat students as a money making scheme.I wish there is a option to rate negative, it seems all 5 star are from their staff or paid to write.
