Move Yourself Trailer Hire

The booking service was easy and so was the pick up at the service station.The trailer however was poorly maintained. Both of the wheels on the rear axle were dangerously under pressure, I measured them at 12psi before I pumped them up. The bigger issue was the wiring in the trailer, one of the indicator lines was grounding on the body of the trailer. This caused a short in my indicator line meaning my indicator didn't work as well as the trailer indicator. When unplugged from the trailer my indicator began working again. I tested the voltage outputs on my trailer plug with a digital multi-meter (DMM) and did not find a single issue with my trailer plug outputs. I measured voltages across the trailer only to find that the indicator line was grounding on the trailer which is what caused the issue. The bad ground caused damage to my electrics and ended up costing me money to fix.I contacted move yourself who flat out refused to take any responsibility and are now ignoring me. They just blamed my vehicle for all the issues. I am a mechanical engineer and I also regularly work with electronics in my field so I know how to trouble shoot and find the source of the issue, it was without doubt the trailer.I would not recommend using these trailers.
