Wow, this place is what the magic of the south is all about. Beautifully kept public space where you can let the kids relax in the shallows or take a quiet float down the flowing tributary to the ocean. It's seriously a magic spot.

This is a great hidden gem which I loved visiting! You could spend hours here exploring, taking photos, swimming and kayaking, and it is very kid friendly! I recommend to take a walk a long the whole beach and check out the rock pools and views.

Great spot for snorkeling in the rock reef at the entrance, stand up paddleboarding, swimming, soaking up the sun.

The most amazing place ever to swim for young and old. Watch out for a blue bottle or two if they come in on the tide

Lovely beach, the inlet is fantastic for swimming with kiddies. The beach is not patrolled and has a dangerous rip coming out of the inlet. Be mindful of it. The foreshore is great for picnics and I highly recommend The Fish Shop at Burrill Lake for a delicious meal of fish, chips and calamari.

Very nice area for swimming.enough parking spaces.if you decided to swim there just go from 9am to 2pm because water backed to ocean from afternoon and it’s not safe enough. Has shower and toilets too.

The pictures I’ve taken don’t show the real beauty of this place (blame the photographer) but this place is a true find. It’s one of those beaches that absolutely anyone can enjoy without feeling unsafe. Quite popular so expect quite a few people. The water is shallow around there so it’s inviting for kids and grownups alike
